Summer is has always been the most popular season for couples to get married. Why do you think this is?<\/h3>\n

“The hope of good weather is the biggest reason and it is a great time of year for the honeymoon.”<\/p>\n

Do Summer weddings have a more relaxed vibe about them?<\/h3>\n

“I would say the opposite, Summer weddings tend to be a bit stressful, as the unpredictable weather means plans may have to change last minute.\u00a0 Winter Brides always seem much more chilled out \u2013 not sure on the reason for this. It’s all down to the couple’s personalities, everyone is different.”<\/p>\n

What colour palettes are most suited to a Summer wedding?<\/h3>\n

“Bright colours are always very popular, but the vintage look is still really dominant, think grass green, pale pinks, pastels and champagne shades.”<\/p>\n

What are your favourite Summer wedding trends from the last few years?<\/h3>\n

“Oh, there’s so many to choose from! The ones that stand out for me are Ice Cream Carts, Outdoor Musicians and Garden Games they give the day a really nice and fun atmosphere.”<\/p>\n

What kind of food is befitting for Summer nuptials? Can you tell us a bit about the fabulous food available from Rogerthorpe Manor?<\/h3>\n

“At Rogerthorpe Manor we can cater for anything, from a standard Chicken Breast in a Cream and Mushroom Sauce, to Fillet of Beef Rossini! There is no usual pattern to the meals booked, it is all down to the personal tastes and budget of the couple.”<\/p>\n

What things are essential for a spectacular Summer wedding?<\/h3>\n

“Arrivals Drinks and Canap\u00e9s served in our Award Winning Gardens, during the Bridal Photoshoot is a must. \u00a0Lovely, bright colour schemes are essential and of course, happy guests!”<\/p>\n

What new trends are you looking forward to seeing more of this Summer?<\/h3>\n

“I always look forward to seeing the change in trends of room decoration, the newest thing seems to be huge letters that light up! Anything that sparkles and the vintage theme is is definitely here to stay.”<\/p>\n
