Moddershall Oaks<\/a> is a Country Spa Retreat and Wedding Venue in\u00a0Staffordshire. But they’re a bit different from the normal wedding venue. Let’s just say if you’re looking for Katie, things can get a little confusing! We caught up with one of \u00a0‘The Katies’ (as they’re famously known as), Events Coordinator, Katie Grange to talk about ‘The Katies’, Facebook and an adorable office pet called Bugsy…<\/p>\n

Hi ladies, first of all we have to ask, how many Katies do you actually have in Moddershall Oaks?<\/h2>\n

There are actually 3 Katies in total, 2 of which work in the same office!<\/p>\n

Wow, that must get confusing! How do you keep track of it all?<\/h2>\n

Yeah, it can get confusing. It was difficult at first but now we are getting used to it. A lot of the time we just call each other by our surnames.<\/p>\n

You have some beautiful photography of Moddershall Oaks on Facebook, where do they come from?<\/h2>\n

Most of the photography we have on Facebook are real pictures of real weddings we have here! We also tend to take a lot of pictures ourselves\u2026 if we see something nice or if it\u2019s a particularly sunny day it\u2019s hard not to stop and take photos when the surroundings you work in are so beautiful.<\/p>\n

What is your favourite wedding trend so far this year?<\/h2>\n

I think it would have to be the vintage trend! All the delicate colours, lace and pearls\u2026 it\u2019s just timeless. We have actually created a special afternoon tea style wedding breakfast which fits in nicely with this and has proven really popular!<\/p>\n

Favourite wedding movie of all time?<\/h2>\n

Hmmm\u2026 that would have to be \u201cBridesmaids\u201d \u2013 it\u2019s just so much fun!<\/p>\n

Who would be your dream musical guest at a wedding?<\/h2>\n

This one is easy. The Dire Straits! I would have them play \u201cRomeo & Juliet\u201d for my first dance.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve noticed a few little pet photos on Twitter. So we have to ask, who\u2019s Bugsy?<\/h2>\n

Bugsy is the adorable office beagle. He actually belongs to one of our directors but visits us once a week. He is very sweet, when he isn\u2019t stealing our sandwiches, ha-ha!<\/p>\n

If you were to give your couple\u2019s one piece advice before the week of their wedding what would it be?<\/h2>\n

Pamper yourself and enjoy a few indulgences. The hard work is done so it\u2019s time to tie up the last few loose ends, then sit back and relax. It will do you no good getting stressed and you need this time to get excited!!!<\/p>\n
