DIY<\/a> is great, wonderful even, but they are not for everyone. Now, this is not to say you\u2019re not creative but we all have a long way to go before we reach Martha Stewart status. Adding a personal touch to your day is always cute but, how much time have you planned for DIY? A lot more time than expected can actually go in to DIY prep work. Unless you have segmented days in the week for it, the work may not be done on time. One personal horror story left a lady here in the office distraught when she realized there wasn\u2019t enough time to finish her DIY stationery! Thankfully, it was sorted in the end but it just goes to show how difficult it can be to gage how much time a project will take!<\/p>\n
Teamwork<\/h2>\n
This can fit into the whole time aspect too. DIY can be a lot faster and even more fun if you have some friends or a bridal party to help you out. Recruit your crafty buddies for tips and advice that you might not have thought of yourself. You could even make it a hen party activity!<\/p>\n
Budget<\/h2>\n
Supplies are not always the cheaper option if you can believe it. You could have a great idea for table placements cards but putting it together can be expensive. Think about it, buying good quality paper material is expensive unless bought in bulk. So if you\u2019re interested in DIYing your stationery, try to buy bigger quantities of paper as well as making us for it in other d\u00e9cor areas.<\/p>\n
DIY is definitely fun, but needs careful planning and time dedicated to it. So, shop around for good prices, take the time you need and grab someone crafty!<\/p>\n
