One touching story we\u2019ve heard was about a bride whose father had passed before the wedding. The couple decided to walk down the aisle with each other to face their marriage together. If your father will be attending the day but won\u2019t be walking you down the aisle, consider giving him another role to play.<\/p>\n
If you know someone won\u2019t be able to attend the wedding, do you still need to invite them? Not an easy one, as there are no hard and fast rules. If you\u2019re sure that someone can\u2019t attend than there is no need to fret over sending them an invite. But, you could send them an invite with a note that says \u201cif your plans change, we would love to see you there.\u201d Bear in mind that a lot of people take an invitation as an obligation to send a gift too.<\/p>\n
