She’s well known for her wide range of haute couture bridesmaids gowns and wedding gown pieces as well as a clientele of elite lady figure skaters. Vera Wang was also a senior editor for Vogue in the 1970’s after being turned down for the position that Anna Wintour how holds. Seriously, is there anything this woman can’t do?

Sarah Burton

Although Sarah Burton wasn’t a household name pre 2011, she has managed to design the wedding dress of our generation. For the Princess Diana years, it was romantic puffy sleeves and an incredibly long train that summed up our iconic vision of the perfect dress. But for us, it will now and forever more be lace and elegant long sleeves. Sarah Burton’s creation is like a super charged Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and Liz Taylor wedding gown with a kick of contemporary style. So accessible to many other body types, if this dress becomes the staple look for the next decade, we won’t be in the least bit surprised.

Monique L’Huillier

To us, Monique Lhuillier is a designer who just ‘gets’ brides. Monique’s bridal journey began when searching for her own dress in 1995, where she was surprised at the lack of fashionable pieces for bridal options. With a real affinity for evening gowns and bridal wear, she decided to launch her own collection in 1996.
