The staff at hotel were so helpful on the day and leading up to the day. The guests all commented on how lovely the food had been and canopies had been.

The honeymoon suite was lovely and cosy with a lovely big bath which was great to relax in.

Also the area around and the hotel itself offers a lovely setting to take photos.

The ceremony room was decorated lovely and had a lift down to it for those who are unable to take the stairs.

Every effort was made to make our day magical and I could not have asked for a better place to get married at and it wasn't as expensive as many other places. Also can't praise staff highly enough.

We had booked The Eglington Arms Hotel last October 2018.

We were concerned because we do not live in Glasgow and were worried about arranging a marriage and reception from a distance.

However, everyone at the Eglington Arms Hotel were very reassuring , calm and considerate regarding our wishes . Carolyn the wedding coordinator was efficiency personified and recommended the other services that we subsequently used .

I originate from Glasgow and moved to Leicestershire in 1966.
I was able to use my locally based family to source Cars, flowers and most importantly my Wedding Dress . My Sisters were a never ending source of strength, support and advice.
My Brother gave me away ( Free! ) . My Son and Grandson from England were Ushers my Granddaughters were my Bridesmaids. My Husband's Son was another Usher and his Grandchildren were flower girls and page boys. His Daughter and my Niece gave two beautiful readings.

Friends came from a wide area including America and all over England .

The Eglington Arms Hotel Staff were amazing from the managers Carolyn, Paul and other staff including Massimo, Ashley, Stacey, Jay, Amanda.
They were absolutely fantastic despite my many questions they were extremely patient and professional .

The meal was delicious, served piping hot with great efficiency .
The evening reception that followed was enjoyed by all with everyone participating wholeheartedly.

In conclusion, many Guests said " This was the best wedding they had ever been to ", the was due in no small measure to the wonderful staff at The Eglington Arms Hotel.

From the first member of staff that we met (Holly) to the events manager (Carolyn) to the bar staff to the table staff to the every receptionist we ever spoke to, we were treated with courtesy, care and respect. to us that they treated every wedding in a bespoke manner. Everything we asked for was never a problem. Furthermore in terms of value for money, especially when you include the rooms and how the treated our guests offering early check ins etc, we were more than pleased. If you are considering the Eglinton Arms for you wedding or any event I can say with confidence that you would have no regrets. The Eglinton Arms Hotel has a real family atmosphere - we don’t feel as if our relationship with this hotel ends now that our wedding has finished. without any issues. We had our ceremony in the beautiful Earls Hall - there are steep stairs to get to the ceremony room but staff were on hand to make sure some guests could use the lift. Our wedding meal was delicious and I couldn't have asked for anything more, vegan guests and guests with allergies commented on how well their allergies were taken into consideration and were very pleased with their meals! We especially liked the layout of the room, there is the main room where the band play, but also a private bar with tables and chairs where people could sit and have a conversation, and in reception, there are large sofas next to the fire, which our older guests really enjoyed! The honeymoon suite is amazing and has one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in - our guests commented on how lovely their rooms were too. Our wedding day went without a hitch because of all the amazing, kind and patient staff - we couldn't fault a thing! My husband and I would highly recommend a visit to the Eglinton Arms Hotel, whether it's for your wedding or just a lunch out with friends!

Eglinton Arms.
The room was dressed beautifully in the royal blue of our choice. The chairs, bows and tables were stunning.
The food was amazing could not have asked for better. The buffet at night was also great a range of rolls and sausage and bacon.
The Honeymoon suite is to die for. Gorgeous set up they have. I would have loved to stay longer.
The grounds to the Eg is also something that I loved. The day we got married the sun was splitting the sky. We got the full use out of the grounds surrounding the Eg. Beautiful place to get married. If I was to do it all over again I wouldn't choose anywhere else.
I would recommend the Eglinton Arms to anyone who is looking to get married at any time of the year.
Carolyn and the staff are fantastic and couldn't do enough for you. If you chose to marry here you will never be disappointed.

Our bridal suite was just beautiful and I must say I can’t wait to stay there again and get to properly enjoy relaxing in the gorgeous double ended free standing bath.
The grounds at the hotel were a lovely setting for our photos and we love all our photos that were taken both inside and out.
All in all I do not think we could have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding. We can not recommend it enough.

our wedding from start to finish. Nothing was too much bother and every little detail and request we asked for was carried out with precision timing.
Many of our guests stayed at the hotel the evening before our wedding day and each and every one of them agreed that they were looked after by all staff, the rooms were excellent and the food was first class. All staff were very friendly and helpful in each and every department.
On the day itself, everything was setup early and all the staff, especially Carolyn made us feel very relaxed and we knew that they were in control and ready to ensure that our day ran smoothly. We had a few (well many, if truth be told) special requests that were outside the "norm" and again this was not an issue or any trouble at all.
The catering on the day was unbelievably good and some of our guests who had food allergies were catered for so well and the chef was very flexible and helpful.
Thank you again, Carolyn, to you and your staff for making our day so special.
