One of the main highlights of our day was the wedding breakfast, the food was delicious, well presented and we had so many guests comment on how lovely it was!

The hotel and the grounds are beautiful for a wedding and the bridal and honeymoon suite are both fabulous!

I had the most wonderful day for my wedding. John and the staff could not do enough. We were offered the honeymoon suite from the morning of my wedding day till day after. The whole day was professional and perfection I would thoroughly recommend The Garfield.

my mother had just had a really bad stroke and is now left in a wheelchair for life, the Garfield has a wheelchair ramp so I’m so glad of that,nothing was a problem with the Garfield all the staff were amazing our day went amazing from start to finish even had a minion walk in front of me down the aisle. Kara & John are amazing, we also got to try our wedding meal before our day omg the food is to die for we did our own decoration as we have our own events business and the Garfield were ok with that nothing was a problem the hotel is gorgeous and rooms are cosy the beds are so comfy the honeymoon suite has been changed since we were there but we really enjoyed the honeymoon suite we always go back on our wedding anniversary to the restaurant for a fantastic meal when we have our clients ask where’s the best hotel to get married at we always say the Garfield. We had our intimate late autumn wedding in the drawing room of the Garfield house hotel with 40 guests. The space was comfortable and the management and staff catered for our every need and individual choice for the day. The grounds for photographs in late autumn were maintained to a high standard …

and we could not have been happier with the beautiful images captured in the hotel surrounds. We also utilised the hotel inside for further pictures on the beautiful staircase and stained glass as a backdrop.
The evening meal and entertainment was held in the private dining room and even with a few extra evening guest it remained a comfortable experience.
The food and drinks were served with experience and professionalism and I cannot rate the whole experience highly enough.
From arrival at the hotel the evening before until breakfast and departure the day after I cannot fault a thing!

The Garfield itself is such a beautiful place and I can’t wait to see all our proper photos taken in and around the place. The reception room, the ceremony room and the actual hall are beautifully decorated and spacious.

Someone told me it was raining on our wedding day - I never even noticed as we were having such an amazing time.

ease, any request we had was accommodated and we were left in no doubt that we were in safe hands.

The reception itself was terrific and all through the photos, meal and speeches the staff kept the day rolling smoothly. The dance floor was heaving all night and the three bars on the go ensured a short wait for your drink (very important to our lot). Many stayed over including ourselves and the bridal suite was excellent.

The feedback we've had from our guests confirmed how we felt about the hotel. All in all it was a fantastic day which we wish could have went on and on.

Thank you to everyone at the Garfield House Hotel, we only wish we could do it again.
