We are just back from our Honeymoon in The Norwegian Fjords and would like to thank you and your staff for all that you all did to make our Wedding weekend at The Old Tollgate a huge success and a very happy occasion.

happy indeed with the staff on the day. Julie was amazing and many of our family and guests have commented since upon the hotel’s staff friendly and professional manner.

The food was great, our bridal room was fantastic and the whole venue and day was just perfect. Everything fan smoothly thanks to yourself, Julie and your staff

Please thank the chefs and restaurant team on our behalf. The additional Brazilian food that was specially laid on for us was extremely good and the whole meal and serving of it was top class.

I feel that the value for money you offer for weddings is exceptional.

Please would you pass on our gratitude to all your staff, and on a personal note I was amazed at the friendly and professional service and friendliness shown to us every time we have been to your hotel by BEN. He is a very polite and courteous young man and nothing was ever too much trouble. I am sure he will go a long way in life with this attitude.

We shall definitely be along again sometime soon for a meal and would not hesitate in recommending your hotel to anyone wanting to hold their wedding with you.

We got married here on the 3rd of June and I can't fault anything. From the moment we checked in on the Friday to leaving on the Sunday the staff were so helpful and friendly and completely made me feel at ease with everything.

Overall I can't rate this place enough and eould recommend it to anyone who asked, whether it's for lunch dinner an overnight stay or a wedding the tolgate is well worth a visit

We had a fab day and the staff couldn't have done anymore, Robert and the staff excelled themselves!! What swayed us to get married here was the food. We have been regulars here for quite sometime and didn't realise that what you got during the week is what they do for a wedding......THE FOOD HERE …

IS THE BEST CARVERY EVER!!! They cater for everyone and also if you want to change things veg,deserts etc they'll do it!!! This is a must visit whether you want an intimate meal or a gathering of friends and family!!! Well done all xx
