I held my whole wedding at the moat house hotel on the 11th August 2019
Everything ran smoothly all staff members were really helpful and were happy to help with anything at all.
We had so many compliments on the evening buffet on how nice it was and there was plenty for everyone!

set up just as requested which looked lovely everything ran on time.
We had canopies and drinks served after the ceremony which I highly recommend especially for those who don’t want a sit down meal afterwards.
It was a lovely day made stress free by the members of staff at the hotel.

The place was amazing and the rooms were lovely and clean. The staff in particular a lady name Sammy were absolutely amazing and a bar staff name Katie was fab to..they couldn't do enough for us. We had the best day and the venue was wonderful.

We had the most amazing day from start to finish. We were looked after from the moment we booked the venue. Paige our wedding coordinator was fabulous and nothing was ever to much trouble even though I most of sent 10 million emails a day. We had Nina look after us on the day and she was amazing. …

needs. We had wedding breakfast and then an evening buffet for our guests, and the entire food was beautiful. We booked the family room for the 6 of us and were not disappointed as the room was very large. We also booked a separate double to use for the lads to get ready in and it was equally as nice and spacious. The early morning breakfast buffet was great and the kids enjoyed making their own pancakes on the pancake machine. The bar staff, waiters/waitresses and reception staff where all very helpful and nice. The entire weekend we extremely quick and I just wish it had lasted longer.
Easily an 11 out of 10. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

My Maid of Honour and I stayed at The Moat House the night before the wedding and quite a lot of our wedding party stayed the evening of the wedding. We all felt that the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food both at the wedding and at the breakfast buffet was second to none. Nothing we asked for, leading up to and on the wedding day, was too much trouble.

We had our wedding here on 5th September 2015 in the JW Suite, we had the deal 'get married in 2015 for £2015'. We did add extra's on in the daytime and evening however it was still so much cheaper than various different venues we looked at and such good value for money. The weather was kind to us …

so we were able to get some nice pictures in the garden. Steph was brilliant throughout the process! On arrival me and my husband were greeted with a glass of champagne by Steph and another lady (sorry cant remember her name). Steph then introduced us to her and advised she would be our point of contact for the day, which we really liked. She was brilliant, along with all the other daytime staff who were all so attentive throughout our day and wedding breakfast, we even had our room card bought to us when the room was ready rather than us having to check in. We then went into the bar downstairs whilst they got the room ready for the evening. We then had the handover to the next point of contact which again we liked. I was able to check the room before all out guests entered and then we partied the night away. Again all the night staff were great and even bought the timings of our evening buffet a little earlier so that our photographer could be there for our 1st dance. Everyone commented on how good the food was in the daytime and evening. I would definitely recommend for a wedding, its a reasonable price and a great service!! The only thing we could say was the lights as you 1st go into the JW Suite were a little bright and a few of our guests felt a little blinded by them. When we mentioned this we were told they were emergency lighting and couldn't be turned off. However we didn't let this spoil our and night and it was a brilliant day with a brilliant service. Thank you to all the team that made it so special.
