Everything during this time was done via email, responses were prompt and understanding and helpful. We were kept informed of timelines and what was needed. We were allowed in the night before to set up the room which was a great help and made it easier for me to have a relaxed start to the wedding day. On the day it ran smoothly and everyone in the party had a thoroughly great and fantastic time. Walking down to see our names for the private breakfast was wonderful and very touching. Planning a wedding can be really challenging but the staff here made us feel like no question or worry was too silly!

Our wedding took place on a sunny Friday in July 2016 and, after our marriage ceremony, we headed to Ullesthorpe to enjoy the rest of the day. From the moment we arrived, everything was taken care of in a relaxed and friendly manner. The staff were so well organised and considerate; nothing was too much trouble. The food and service- during the wedding breakfast and evening buffet- were brilliant and the catering staff were very accommodating to the needs of our guests.

After the wedding, many of our guests stayed for another day to enjoy the facilities at Ullesthorpe. We had a lovely breakfast with all our guests the day after the wedding and everyone commented on how superb the staff were.

As we've already said, we are so pleased we had our wedding at Ullesthorpe and we cannot thank all the staff enough for their hard work. The staff genuinely appear to enjoy their jobs and there is a real sense that the team are one big happy family.

We cannot wait to return again soon! Perhaps on our wedding anniversary!

Everyone has commented on how amazing the sit down meal was and the buffet in the evening, I had nothing to stress about on the day thanks to Claire. One guest who is only 2 fell sleep during the meal and once she woke up they kindly cooked a meal just for her and gave her ice cream for dessert, honestly nothing was any trouble to them.
The rooms were clean and spacious there was enough room for me and my 3 bridesmaids to have our hair and makeup done. The private breakfast in the morning was a great way to end the celebrations.
Once we went back up to our room for the night we found champagne, a teddy and card, it was little touches like this that made Ullesthorpe brilliant.

They gave guidance and support throughout the whole process and always responded to any quieries we had no matter how small.

In one of the meetings we had, we discussed all the details and how the day will progress. This helped us to understand what would happen on the day and to put our minds as rest as we knew everything was sorted.

On the day the staff met us with red carpet and drinks even though we were ahead of schedule by 40 mins, which didn't phase them. We got shown the ashbey room, which was perfect and made sure everything was up to standards.

The hotel and grounds looked beautiful and we managed to get lots of pictures including shots covering the golf course.

The food was well presented and was excellent, the waiter service was superb. We also have a evening buffet for the evening do which was amazing and went down a treat.

We chosen an upgraded superior room which was well maintained, large and beautiful. Also the other guests who stayed over also mention how good the rooms were and comfy the beds. In addition we had an excellent breakfast provided the next morning with just our wedding guests which was a nice touch.

We would like to thank everyone involved at Ullesthorpe which helped make our wedding day extra special. We couldn't have asked for a better venue.

What a truly wonderful day! I can't put into words how fantastic our wedding in March was. order to make our day as special as it could be.
Leading up to our big day, when the nerves were kicking in, I was in contact with the team whenever I need to be and they very quickly ironed out my worries over seating, room decor etc. All those little things that brides get panicky about as the day approaches.
The Blaby suite is a beautiful, intimate room. Every guest was involved and none were lost in the crowd, as can happen at larger venues. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to.
The food (we had roast beef) was absolutely delicious and served quickly and efficiently. The waiting staff were courteous and polite.
The evening disco was superb. Our DJ had taken a list of requests before the day and he played everything that we had requested, as well as taking requests on the night.
On the day, Claire was our MC. She took control of events, liaised with us throughout the day, but managed to remain unobtrusive too. A true professional.
We stayed in a split suite - what luxury! Space for me, the bride, and my bridesmaids to get ready and then later a lovely place to relax and unwind as newlyweds.
Most of our guests stayed at the venue too, so we had a room where we all breakfasted together the day after our wedding. The breakfast was varied, delicous and plentiful.
To sum up the whole wedding experience at Ullesthopre court, I can honestly say that we were made to feel as if we were the most important people who had ever visited the hotel. From the reception staff, to the bar staff, to the housekeeping staff - everyone was friendly, helpful and competent.

and it was a very positive point for us that we had the same point of contact throughout all of the organising, planning and also on the day as Claire was there through all of that. When we did need to liaise with somebody else they were just as nice, friendly and knowledgeable, it seemed like everybody took an interest to make sure there was always somebody to deal with any queries we had.

The food was absolutely first class and all of our guests were extremely complementary on how good the food was, not one person was disappointed. Although they have a wedding breakfast menu they went out of their way to make some slight changes to the menu to suit our requirements, all of which was greatly appreciated.

The room that we had access to for our wedding breakfast and evening reception contained dining area, bar and dance floor all in the same room, ensuring that guests can remain together and people do not get split up by being in different rooms.

The bedrooms and morning breakfast the day after were also fantastic, and we were given a private room for the breakfast for ourselves and all our guests who stayed over to share some more time with our friends and family.

All in all our experience at Ullesthorpe was absolutely fantastic and we would strongly recommend the venue to anybody who is considering it as a wedding venue, we know you will not be disappointed.

We looked at several other places, Catthorpe Manor, Rothley Court, Quorn Country Club, but none were a patch on this place. From the minute we were introduced to Claire and Helen, and shown around, we knew this was …

We had ideas of what we wanted theme wise and other requirements on food and room requirements etc, which had been rebuked by all the other venues, but Claire just said "it is your day, to be done the way you want it, we are here to ensure it goes the way you want." This attitude set the precedence from then on, with us giving her our ideas, and her explaining how we could do it. We only had to make one concession in the end, as they don't have a Helipad, and trudging through a ploughed field would not have gone down well with the Bride! We opted for the executive room for the honeymoon suite and recommend that you take up the option of using the Spa services. After our private breakfast with the guests that had stayed overnight, we went for a swim and a relax in the Jacuzzi. The guest rooms were superb ad great value, as we had a concession rate for wedding guests. Their basic standard double is better than any Premier Inn that I have stayed in thats for sure. The food on the day was also top drawer and everyone was commenting that they had not been to a wedding where the food had been so good before. The staff were always cheerful and happy to assist you and I have to say a special thanks to Claire for making our day so special and ensuring everything went smoothly and to plan. We used alot of the people that we had seen at a Wedding fayre at the hotel for the Chair covers, Balloons and Disco and again because they all work together so often it all comes together. The room looked amazing and again you can put your own touches to the room as they are so flexible.

We had never even tried the food until the day of our Wedding and we were so impressed as were our guests (One guest descibed it as the " Best Wedding food he had ever had") . The comments that we have had back from our family & friend's about the day have been so lovely it has made it even better :-)

day. After visiting a number of wedding fairs at the hotel, we knew this would be the perfect wedding venue for us not only because the room was perfect but also the help of everyone at the fairs. The grounds that the hotel are in are lovely especially with the golf course and being able to have some photos around that area really made it perfect for us, but our main thing was trusting the team and after visiting a fair we knew we could trust them every step of the way. After booking our wedding we had the most amazing experiences and help to the build up to our day. The wedding day itself could not have been any more perfect and I say that with a capital P! We would never wish for our wedding day back because everything was perfect with so many amazing happy memories and we said that on the day to the staff. On the day everything ran smoothly with all the staff working so very hard, the room looked better than we could have ever imagined, the food was 5 star hot and delicious and all 62 of our guests said it was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding. We had 65 guests staying at the hotel and the private breakfast on Sunday was a lovely touch, it made our special day last that bit longer :-)
The food was exceptional, it would not have been out of place on a table at a fine dining restaurant (apart from the generous portion sizes!). The evening buffet was equally scrumptious, sorry to say a lot of it got thrown away because we were all too full from dinner!
We received letters from guests 2 days after the occasion saying how wonderful it was and what a stunning venue we had chosen.
If you are thinking about booking Ullesthorpe Court for your wedding then think no more, just do it; it's perfect!

The wedding guests made comments of "Best food they have ever tasted at a wedding". Also all the guests commented on the staff on how friendly they were. We got married in the blaby suite and this was perfect for us as the whole suite is yours for the day, also the dance floor is a brill size. The reccommended suppliers gave to us by ullesthorpe were also brilliant so good idea to take there advice on ie: decorations, entertainment, flowers etc. If i was to do this all over again with my Husband i would do it there exactly the same. Everything you have read on here is true, Ullesthorpe really are the most fantastic people and it really is a wonderful venue. From start to finish Claire, Helen and their team made this potentially anxious experience incredibly smooth and completely stressless.

From the moment we first started …

to consider it, they were head and shoulders above the rest as regards customer service, bending over backwards to help make the event run as easily as possible. Running up to the wedding Claire was very good at making sure everything had been considered and covered and taken care of. Helen was always very good at responding quickly to our enquiries and making sure we always felt we were in control. Here, you're not treated as just another event, but we genuinely felt very comfortable with everything they did and really appreciated everything they did for us. I think I even saw a tear in Claire's eye following the Father of the Bride speech, but she was strong throughout the entire day!

On the day they must have covered more miles running around after us, but never seemed phased, especially as we were running about an hour behind from the church. The food was very good, the beer was outstanding and their good-nature and service topped it all off to make it the best day we could ever have hoped for. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone considering anything in the Leices/Warks area, go and visit and you will walk away very impressed having had the best day.

We took a risk and booked feb 16th 2013. We were expecting rain, wind and snow, but we got the most perfect day ever.

Prior to our wedding, we attended a Wedding Fayre at Ullesthorpe Court where my wife found her make-up artist and our chair covers, both of which we weren't sure if we could afford, but they were affordable. Well worth going because all of the rooms were decorated.

years before the day and Ullesthorpe Court stayed in touch and we felt safe that our booking was secure. We got to choose our wedding honeymoon suite, one of the luxurious 'Executive' rooms that more than met our expectations, we even got to choose the colour scheme and floor plan that we wanted!
Me and my Wife got married on 21st July 2012 with our reception being held at Best Western Ullesthorpe Court in the Blaby Suite.
We were always looking forward to our reception being held in the Blaby Suite, especially as the food was presented and laid out in the adjacent conference room on the huge table. The food was exceptionally good and we receive constant feedback about how good the food was (even to this day!). Ullesthorpe Court were sensitive to my Wife's dietary needs (fussiness!) and nothing was too much trouble. We had 105 guests that comfortably fitted into the Blaby Suite, without the need to roll over onto the dancefloor. In particular, special mention to Helen Clarke, she was always on the other end of the phone and was always (without fail) willing to answer any questions that we had, even if they were a little more frequent as we approached the day! We were also exceptionally grateful to Claire Hill, our wedding co-ordinator. We only met her about a week before the day, but both Claire and Helen were very assuring as we approached the day. Claire was also very influential on the big day as she knew exactly what we wanted and was able to make sure that everything ran smoothly.
We were also very very pleased with our photos that were taken in the grounds, some of the backdrops and views were absolutely stunning and they really give our pictures some beautiful backgrounds.
