spending time the night before with my bridesmaids and there was more than enough room for lots of family to stay in the hotel too and make a little holiday of it. The day itself could not have gone any smoother, it was exactly as we had imagined and much more! The Dalmahoy has brilliant suppliers who they worked with (they were also super helpful and lovely!) which made the whole thing come together amazingly. We are still so buzzing and gutted it’s all over - Emma and the team were absolutely fantastic and we can’t wait to come back and visit. Emma was so accommodating with meetings/phone calls etc and that doesn’t go unnoticed. We feel like she was calm, so friendly and approachable - it’s more like we’ve made a friend rather than just ‘dealt’ with someone at the hotel. We won’t hesitate to shout about you guys from the rooftops - thanks for making our big day so brilliant, memorable, amazing and seamless!

Our day was perfect from start to finish. Emma was outstanding - literally, nothing was too much effort for her. She was so on the ball, approachable and professional.

Dalmahoy were fantastic at helping us plan our wedding from London.
We met in Scotland and we had a lot of intricate details including diets and access arrangements that Hannah and the team dealt with amazingly.

We were married in St Mary's Church in the grounds of Dalmahoy which was in the perfect location and was beautiful.

We had a fantastic wedding weekend from start to finish.
We originally had chosen Dalmahoy for many reasons, but one being that we adored the wedding planner - throughout our planning period the planner left and we got a new planner, something we really thought might change our experience.
However …

our new planner was just as incredible and wonderful.
As a previous wedding manager myself, I knew what I wanted from our weekend wedding experience- and we got that with the Dalmahoy.

John the toast master was perfect and very good at keeping things running smoothly, well worth having. Greg, the piper was Brilliant, and letting him play what he wanted was the best way to do it. ( of record my wife's father was C in C of a Scottish regiment, she knows a good piper when she hears one, which she did)

The other person who needs a mention and ran about for us and was a great help was Stephen Deputy manager?

In fact all staff very pleasant I would do it again if I another daughter getting married in Edinburgh.

The day for us was perfect with no real hiccups along the way, both yourself and Ross are a credit to the Dalmahoy and we were very lucky to have you as part of our wedding day. Nothing was too much trouble for either of you and you went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best day. We really do appreciate everything that you did for us both, you are a very calming influence to what we can be a very nerve racking day and having only met with you once before the wedding you knew our vision for the day inside out.

The food on the day was amazing!

her amazing organisation, every single member of the Dalmahoy staff were outstanding.
Every guest at our wedding has made comment about how amazing the arrival drinks and canapes were and made comment on how tasty the food was. Staff were polite and very keen to help with any request.
Unfortunately, it poured on our wedding day (all day) and we were unable to get pictures outside, much to my disappointment as the grounds are stunning. However, thank you to Caroline and your wonderful team we were able to use the room upstairs to get pictures and I've had a few sneak peeks and they are stunning!!!
I particularly liked the wine table, so often you go to a wedding and the couple have paid for a top up or half bottle of wine for through the meal and you never get this and the wine is no where to be seen. I loved this little touch and loved that every drop of wine we paid for our in package was available for our guests. I loved how we were able to drop everything off for our sweet table, guest book, etc and left all in Caroline's capable hands and all tables were set up beautifully.
Shaun and I had decided we wanted to stay at Dalmahoy on the Sunday evening, which we booked in advance.....due to all the other planning we forgot to book a table in the restaurant for the Sunday evening and we were sad to hear it was fully booked. Again no trouble for Dalmahoy and the staff were able to amazing at managing to squeeze us in for dinner and it was amazing 10/10 food and service was top notch.
Thank you so much Caroline & everyone at Dalmahoy for making our wedding the most amazing day, we will definitely be back to stay.

indoor wedding was a great space to work with.

Throughout the time approaching our wedding, we liaised several times with the wedding planner who added to our excitement on approach to the big day as you could see she had a genuine interest in ensuring your day was special.

We have had so many compliments from guests that attended on the food, venue, staff and specifically Caroline the wedding planner on how they could not do enough. You know it is good service when guests that are enjoying themselves notice how wonderful a job the planner is doing of looking after them as well as the bride and groom.

So many wonderful memories from our big day to mention but the big selling point of the Dalmahoy is the mood lighting décor in the main function hall, space, and size of venue, beautiful grounds and stairwell for group photos, service itself and the food. All our guests were well fed and watered for a good knees up that's for sure. Added quirk is going out in the golf buggy for pictures. The flower girls and the groomsmen loved it.

My wife and I got married at the Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club on 14th July 2018. We booked our wedding far in advance to ensure we got the date we wanted and to allow us to save for our special day. During the time of our booking, there was a number of changes to both the ownership of the hotel …

and wedding coordinators however once this settled and Caroline joined the team, everything ran smoothly up to and including the day.

Caroline in particular, with the help of her team, ensured everything went perfectly on our day and as stress-free as possible. When it came to the day, everything was sorted for us and gave us time to relax a bit and enjoy our day.

From start to finish, from the ceremony to the evening meal and the night reception, we couldn't have asked for a better day.

The hotel and surrounds are beautiful meaning we got great photographs and videos of our day.

We could not have asked for a better wedding venue and wedding coordinator and would recommend the Dalmahoy to all future brides and grooms.
