On private grounds set against the stunning backdrop of the picturesque Gloucestershire countryside and neighbouring arboretum, the Victorian mansion exudes grandeur and romance making it the perfect setting for your day.

Facilities and Capacity

De Vere Tortworth Court boasts a fantastic selection of licensed facilities for you to use for your ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception. The four-star hotel combines classic elegance and contemporary style. You can treat the space as the perfect blank canvas to accommodate any colour scheme and style. The self-contained Westminster Suite has its own dance floor, stage and bar for up to 250 guests to enjoy, and the option for an externally catered wedding is available in this Suite. Originally built in 1899, the glass-panelled Orangery looks gorgeous in the daytime with cascades of natural light. This unique venue can accommodate ceremonies and wedding breakfasts with up to 100 guests and evening parties of 120 guests. In addition to these areas, the estate's gardens can provide wonderful backdrops for your treasured wedding photographs.

Saturday was an absolutely incredible day! We have absolute wedding blues because of how perfect it was and both of us already want to do it all over again. Once we have received our professional photos back, we will of course share them with you so you can share them on social media. It was such a beautiful day, we are more than happy for our photos to be shared.

With regard to feedback, we cannot thank you enough, Alex, for your professionalism and promptness throughout this process. No question was too much for you to answer, and you have been an absolute rock steering us in the right direction of what information we needed to provide or needed to do. You are friendly and outgoing and that is definitely something you need when planning a wedding. As neither of us had done this before, you put us at complete ease throughout the planning process and were a constant support from the start. You helped alleviate any wedding planning nerves we had, and we are forever grateful.

We would also like to pass our sincere thanks on to Danka as well for the day. Danka was incredibly organised and professional, and she made us feel so at ease. She was swift with guiding us towards what we needed to do, and everything went without a hiccup as far as we’re aware! If there were any hiccups, this is a testament to Danka’s work as it went completely unnoticed. She kept everything running smoothly, directed us towards where we needed to be, and kept us informed of the whole day, what to expect next, where we needed to go and what time etc. We are honestly so thankful to have had Danka there on the day and also can’t thank her enough.

We would also like to pass a huge thanks on to Elvis as well for their running of the Orangery on the day.
