pleased indeed with the efficient, sensitive and friendly service of the team. All the staff at the hotel, whether directly working with us or not, were so friendly and welcoming. The Events Organiser, Dorota, did a brilliant job in talking us through our options and organising the afternoon. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. We could not have wished for better. We have no hesitation in recommending the Hog's Back Hotel to anyone looking for a venue for a wedding reception.

the evening. The staff were great very helpful which is nice as its a stressful time. The food was good, rooms were good and loads of room for the disco and bar area. Everyone had a really good day which is what you want to hear - I would thoroughly recommend this place as your wedding venue.

After looking at a few, deciding on one, changing our minds and looking at a few more, me and the wife (Fiancée at the time) decided that we would like to get married at the Legacy Farnham Hogs Back Hotel. I know it sounds cliché but it was one of those moments where we knew it was the place for …

us before we had even left to discuss it.
We decided to have the entire day there – ceremony, wedding breakfast and the reception, plus with it being a hotel it meant we got to have breakfast with everyone who chose to stay in the morning which was brilliant! The Hogs Back offer various packages for weddings that help consolidate the costs (top tip – don’t underestimate how expensive weddings can be) and also some of the organisational stress. You can tailor the packages too. An example of this is the fact we booked the DJ, the chair sashes and the photographer through the venue which means less suppliers to worry about and they were fantastic, but more on that later!
We fell in love with the Hogs Back Hotel for a number of reasons including (but not limited to) the picturesque view, the colours in the room matched our colour scheme and the wedding planner named Mel de la Rey made us feel totally comfortable that our big day would be treated as special and unique – something the other venues lacked.
We were really quite gutted a few months later when we found out Mel was leaving, but thankfully our replacement planner, Dorota Coates, came in and was fantastic the whole way through and was even there to make sure things went right on the day.
The bride stayed the night before, with the bridal party – most of whom fit in the bridal suite (a large two floored room called ‘Room at the Top’) whereas the Groomsmen stayed with me at my parents’ house. The wedding seemed to go by so quickly so make sure you treasure it if you get married, and make sure you take a moment to stand back and enjoy it. It was an absolutely perfect day, even the weather was great!

time . they could not do enough for us and made us our day and our guest feel special & welcome. we would recommend this hotel as your wedding venue with one of the hotel wedding packages that they provide. Zoe and her staff were attentive through out and nothing seemed to much trouble the food was very good and hot and all our needs were catered for. the photographer was the best we have seen and put us and our guests at ease and gave us some outstanding photos. breakfast was as much as you could eat and we all enjoyed brekkie in our own room away from other guest so prolonging the special experience. many thanks to all concerned .

whole day was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the staff that worked there. The only complaint I would have would be the bar prices but then thats hotels for you, no different to any other one. "Fantastic wedding day”

Booked our wedding at the hogs back hotel back in February and got married in November....from the first meeting with (Dorota) the wedding co ordinator....I felt really relaxed and safe.....she had everything under control from the moment we booked until the big …

day.....we had regular meetings and contact from start to finish....and any problems were sorted straight away....not that there were many.
The big day arrived and my guests were made to feel really welcome, and everything was just perfect....I was made to feel so special...they even had a mojito ready for me as soon as the service was finished.....it'd the little touches that make u feel so special.....the food on the day was lovely and all my guests commented on how nice the food was.....Dorota stayed by my side most of the day and helped with everything....from decorating the tables just as we had discussed....to holding my flowers for me so I could move in my dress......she was fantastic.......Zoe (catering manager) was also amazing.....she announced all the speeches and iv never seen food served so fast for 50 guests......she also served me rose wine on the top table as I'd mentioned I preferred it (again it's the little touches) ......so if anyone it thinking of booking there wedding here.....U will be so well looked after....I truly felt like a princess for the day......thank u girls so much.....ten out of ten from me and Gary......xxxxxxx
