the day and how it was all going to go was laid out to us clearly in the morning and they ran through everything so smoothly. I didn’t have to think about a thing other than remembering to have fun and enjoy my day. A few times throughout the day me and my husband were stolen away to just have a moment together and I’m so glad they did that as on the day you’re often separate going round and making sure you’ve spoken to and thanked all the guests for coming. Every single staff member was friendly, approachable and would stop at nothing to do anything you asked. I stayed there the night before the wedding too and the staff service isn’t just on wedding days, every person I’ve met there has been lovely, friendly, helpful and just made it a pleasure to be there! I will definitely go back for meals and afternoon tea because the food is amazing!! I had such a special day and I definitely chose the correct venue, I would recommend to anyone!!!

Beautiful venue, nothing was too much trouble. Amazing staff and extra credit to Amanda for helping to make our day perfect.

Our wedding at Holdsworth House Hotel was brilliant from start to the end. Staff were so helpful, went out of there way to make everything run smoothly. Tracy was lovely and made sure everything went to plan. Venue and food was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

opportunity to go taste first and everyone commented on how fantastic it was and how full they were! The whole day was perfectly organised and so stress free that even though our speeches made things over run we didn’t even notice. The staff were wonderful and led us through the day so well ensuring we got to enjoy time as a couple not just hosts. My only small niggle would be to have clearer timings for when they wanted things by such as final guest lists and money. But it’s not worth losing a star for. The staff and hotel are wonderful and made our day so incredibly special!

price of the bar which was ridiculous. My friend ordered 2 gin and tonics and it was £28!!! It doesn't even cost you that to but a decent bottle at a shop. Luckily i steered clear of the gin. Apart from that everything was amazing. The best day ever. Thank you again!

meeting with them to book our wedding we knew we’d booked the perfect venue. All the staff are lovely & professional & nothing is too much trouble to make sure the most important day of our lives went without a hitch!

They worked tirelessly on the day to make our wedding day so special. It was absolutely perfect from start to finish & even the weather was kind & the sun shone all day so we were able to get married in the beautiful courtyard & make the most of the beautiful grounds.

All our guests thoroughly enjoyed it too & absolutely loved the hotel.

The food for our wedding breakfast was delicious. too & the waiters/waitresses did a brilliant job too.

that our requests were accommodated. They were incredibly efficient! I am especially grateful to Chris for making sure everything was perfect during the wedding ceremony and reception. I did not feel stressed out at all because I knew that Chris was handling everything for us and everything was under control. I fell in love with the venue the first time I visited it with my husband back in March 2019. Even though we only had less than 6 months to prepare for the wedding, I am grateful that all the wedding preparations went smoothly. Holdsworth House is a very beautiful hotel (17th century manor house!) and has excellent service! The food was superb. I actually had a hard time choosing the dishes for our 3-course menu during the food tasting because everything was really good! The wedding suite was also a delightful surprise to us - we had champagne, chocolates, flower petals (basically, the works!) and a lovely breakfast delivered to our room the next day. Thank you so much to everyone at Holdsworth House who made our wedding celebration unforgettable! Our family and friends were raving about it for weeks after!
