Couldn’t have done it with out Kate’s help. Everything we asked for. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly the way we wanted. Food was amazing the whole atmosphere setting it was such a brilliant day. Wish I could do it again.

contact was kate planning the wedding she was brilliant any little problems I had she quickly sorted and help me back on track especially towards the end. As far as all the other staff go they made our day everything went perfectly. Food was lovely service was great. Bedrooms were lovely as well. I would definitely recommend if your planning for your big day.

Had an amazing day! Everything was special, the rooms and meal, day and night was lovely. Only one negative was meal was supposed to be served at 2 o clock, did not happen until 3. I had a singer starting for 3 30 and afternoon guests arriving at 5 o clock so only had my singer for 2 hours instead …

Excellent venue, staff very helpful, would highly recommend for a wedding.

Fantastic from start to finish. Could not have wished for a better day.
Staff were very patient and accommodating.

The staff at the holiday inn on our wedding day were amazing and very helpful! The venue was brilliant and nobody could do too much to make sure everyone had what they needed! A special mention to Tom who dealt with all of the planning and made sure everything was in place for us on the day.

only thing I would say was the bridal suite wasn't quite what we expected. (The room was tidy and well kept but it was just a larger room) My wife stayed in the apartment the night before and that was beautiful and would have been much more suitable.

I am giving 5 stars though as this did not effect the day and we had an amazing time!

From the first meeting with Tom, we were outright at ease. He made sure that we were going to have the perfect day. He went into great detail on things we could have and how we could set things up. He sorted out a taster session of the menu for us which we greatly appreciated. We all thought we …

would get one dish to share between us and taste but we all got a dish each. This is something we weren't expecting and were very pleased with. The food was absolutely amazing.
Working up to the big day, any questions we had Tom was happy to help and sort things out.
I stayed in the apartments with my bridesmaids the night before the wedding and just wow. They are amazing. We were well looked after when it came to the morning of the wedding I had no idea what to expect. The amount of help and care the staff took of us was amazing. Ricki was looking after us on the wedding day and made sure everything went smoothly and to plan. I couldn't fault a single thing.
The concierge and staff moved all of our belongings to the room we were staying in on our wedding night.
The wedding ceremony room was absolutely beautiful! I don't know what else to say. I was blown away when I walked in. We had our wedding breakfast in the same room and it looked gorgeous. The amount of work that all the staff put in behind the scenes was just huge. I'd like to thank each and every person that was involved in it all.

On the night time we had our reception in the big room and again it was decorated beautifully. I can't stress how much the staff all looked after us and made sure we had a day to remember, nothing was too big of a problem for them.
I would definitely recommend the Holiday Inn Newcastle - Jesmond to anyone having their wedding. We had an amazing weekend and have come away with loads of lovely memories from the day.
