The Kings Chapel is a truly breath taking find for your special day!

Set in the heart of the rolling Chiltern Hills, Old Amersham our 18th century chapel is the perfect place to tie the knot and celebrate with everyone you love.

Say 'I do' under our spectacular domed ceiling (seccond largest unsupported dome only to St Pauls Cathederal!) in front of the original pulpit or on our Romeo and Juliet balcony. If you're dreaming of an outdoor ceremony we can host the vows in our beautiful walled garden too with its year round flowering blooms. Follow the nuptials with a glass of fizz or your favourite tipple, delicious canapes and photos in our grounds and surrounding areas of Old Amersham.

We can seat up to 120 guests for your wedding breakfast on round tables or 130 for a scrumptious feast on banquet tables! Your guests are sure to be wowed by our culinary excellence; a feast for both your eyes and tummy! From a traditional roast dinner or 5 course feast, to a relaxed BBQ or hog roast we can cater to all taste buds and are happy to tailor our menus to your preferences.

Dance the night away and party in style in your exclusive venue. When the clock strikes midnight the celebrations don't have to stop, you can enjoy a nightcap (or two) and nibble on the wedding cake in the cosy Kings Arms bar until 2am.

We have 35 rooms onsite too so any guests wanting to catch some much needed Z's after the celebrations can stay with you.

Follow up the celebration on the first morning of being newlyweds and enjoy breakfast with your guests in the hotel before you leave for your honeymoon!

day went by smoothly without any hiccups due to the efficiency of the staff. The guests commented on how delicious the food was. The pizza oven and gin bar were a nice touch.

Absolutely beautiful venue and amazing staff, particularly the Day Team who went above and beyond on our day running around like crazy to make sure everything went smoothly. From start to finish I couldn’t fault anything.

We got married just over 4 months after getting engaged (stressful!). The King's Chapel was the second venue I looked at, and it was just perfect. From the homely village-esque pub with a beautiful log fire in the hotel reception, to the amazing freestanding dome in the Chapel, everything was just …

beautiful. There are so many places for people to congregate - the garden, the balcony, the Chapel, the reception, the bar - you never have to force people into the same area. The part I loved the most was that you'd never know the Chapel existed from the high street - it's like a magical world you enter through the archway of the hotel. I absolutely love this venue, but what really put the icing on the cake were the events coordinators that take you through the whole process. They have extensive experience, and go through every possible plan/question you might have. They're always available to help and absolutely lovely. All the coordinators are excellent, but our specific coordinator Alexis, was the most helpful, kind and personable coordinator! I rarely give reviews, but I cannot rate this venue and the people highly enough!

Family members were told by staff our wedding was the largest party they had catered for (approx 120 in the day, 200 in the evening) however you wouldn’t have known this as everything ran so smoothly. Before booking The Kings Chapel we looked at other venues. Not one came close in terms of value for money for both food and drink. I couldn’t strongly recommend this venue anymore! BRILLIANT!
