From the minute you walk through the doors you and your guests will be impressed with our stunning décor and elegant surroundings. Our newly extended Grande Marquee can hold up to 280 guests and boasts an LED dancefloor.

Externally we have the appearance of a Georgian-style building set within beautifully landscaped gardens. Internally we offer a modern, yet contemporary luxury.

The Hotel is designed around a courtyard, perfect setting for any romantic occasion.

The Mercure Haydock Hotel has three wedding suites to choose from, all of which are flexible and can be set out to suit your exact requirements. The Grand Marquee, set within the courtyard, is our largest option and can accommodate up to 280 guests. The silk-draped marquee comes complete with its own private bar, sparkling chandeliers and a state-of-the-art Bose sound system and white dance floor.

Alternatively, the Racecourse Suite offers a unique ambiance with sophisticated lighting, dance floor and private bar. The suite can hold up to 150 guests for a lively celebration. The Beechers Restaurant is also the perfect setting for smaller, more intimate occasions.

Our wedding day at the Haydock Mercure was beautiful. Every step of the way, we were supported with each decision we made, from booking the venue to the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble.

call professionally and timely, was very supportive and easy to talk to, and made the process so easy.

On the wedding day, we had Abbi as our master of ceremonies. We only met her the day before the wedding but she was amazing, I really felt that we were in capable hands. On the day, she kept us on time and updated us on what we needed to do and when. The food was lovely, and I'm more devastated about not eating more during the day (the arancini mushroom balls are amazing). We had a BBQ-style meal, and multiple guests commented on how much they loved it.

We used the venue's DJ, Justin. He was brilliant, listened to everything we asked for, and was lovely to speak with.
If I had to do it again, I would undoubtedly get remarried here, but I promise to try not to.

We had our wedding here on 23 April 2022 and we can honestly say the staff at the Mercure couldn’t do enough to make our wedding day so special especially after having to postpone 4 times due to …

the Covid-19 Pandemic.

From start to finish we were looked after by the friendly helpful staff who changed our wedding dates when asked without fuss or bother. They also rearranged the accommodation we had booked for guests staying over and also kept to our original menu choice even though there had been a change in menu. They even had a taster night for us to try our chosen menu which we enjoyed.
On the day of our wedding, the ceremony room was set out in the colours we chose and they looked lovely. The room we had for our wedding breakfast and nighttime was also set out the way we wanted it to be, making our wedding venue look spectacular for our guests to enjoy the day with us.
The detail and care that the staff put in to make our day so special were above and beyond our expectations of them and we can highly recommend any prospective bride and groom to contact them to arrange their wedding day.
