decided to hold the drinks reception outside last minute as we had fluke sunny weather in March which was a lovely touch. They went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our decorations even arranging new chair covers to be delivered on the morning of the ceremony. The food was lovely and was a perfect amount for our 110 guests that were being catered for. The setting was very picturesque and it really is a hidden gem of a building. Above all the communication from the team was brilliant and they made me feel very at ease during the mornings preparations. The turn around time between the events in the day were planned perfectly and none of our guests were left waiting around for long periods of time. The evening reception went without a hitch and the hotel organised DJ was brilliant taking our own style music and turning the evening in to a proper party. The evening food in particular got 5 star reviews from our guests. The rooms were lovely and private which made it a really nice stay for our guests. We really felt like we were looked after throughout our stay and preparations. I would recommend anybody to get married here and I wish we could do it all again.

We initially picked the Parkway because we liked the look and feel of the Ballroom on the Park.

perfect day. She really gave structure to our ideas but without being pushy.

Our toastmaster on the day took any worries completely out of our hands and made sure the whole day ran perfectly. The perfect host!

The food was wonderful, served promptly and in plentiful supply.

The formal bits were done with an appropriate amount of formality and then everyone could let their hair down for the party. Really recommend this venue!

As well as managing the tasks within her role with confidence, efficiency and pleasant communication in every interaction with us, she conveyed her genuine desire …

to help us and ensure the day was exactly as WE wanted it to be. We felt cared for. Conversation with Lauren was always appropriately personal and professionally relaxed. Her clear communication to other teams and individuals brought about a smooth and well managed day. The implied promise "we would have nothing to worry about" was completely accurate.

The confidence we felt at the beginning was continued with a strong attitude from each member of staff we encountered; that they actually wanted to be positive, friendly and effective and make everything work for us.

The preparation of the Ballroom was exactly what we wanted and every detail we mentioned to Lewis was acted upon. Your reccommended DJ Mark Gedney was first class which really encouraged our guests' talent on the floor.

Each person who contributed to the day of wonderful memories created at "The Mercure Leeds Parkway" where nothing is too much trouble.
