Pale and Interesting - The Venue gives you the opportunity to have a ceremony in a beautiful and unique American New England Barn set in the heart of Romney Marsh on the Kent/East Sussex border and the stunning open countryside is the perfect spot to pitch a marquee for an evening reception. Only 10 minutes from the quaint cobbled streets of Rye and the magnificent sand dunes of Camber, this is an area of outstanding history and natural beauty.
Owned by husband and wife team Atlanta Bartlett and Dave Coote who have both successfully worked in the magazine, photography and design industries for the last 20 years producing books, interiors, furniture, products, sets, magazines features and cabins, both together and individually, that have been highly sought after by those “in the know”.
Organising your big day couldn't be easier as we have access to lots of local services including caterers, photographers, marquee hire, hair and makeup, bridal styling and florists. There are plenty of local hotels, B&Bs and self catering accommodation in the near vicinity for the bridal party and other guests.
If you prefer a church wedding then we are also within easy distance of many of Romney Marsh's famous and ancient churches, including the secluded and romantic 16th century Fairfield Church. .
The Walled Garden at Cowdray is located in the heart of the South Downs National Park and is a luxury destination for weddings.
