We offer varying sized rooms to suit your needs with the largest capable of hosting up to 60 seated guests.

You can also relax in our luxury honeymoon suite, the King's Chamber, where King James VI once hosted a royal banquet in the 1590s.

were very accommodating to our plans and wishes. On the day, we didn’t have to worry about a thing, everything went so smoothly. The location itself is simply gorgeous and perfectly suited for a small wedding. Along with the actual venue comes a beautiful apartment conveniently located within Riddle’s Court, which we were able to stay in the day before and after our wedding, and we loved it. We’d choose Riddle’s Court again, no doubt. It doesn’t get more “Edinburgh” in terms of location, style, and general feel really. It definitely is a (somewhat hidden) gem on the Royal Mile.

From the moment we went to see the venue, the staff were incredibly helpful and they truly seemed happy to help us have the best wedding possible. Through out the preparation they helped us realise our vision for the wedding and they coordinated well with the other vendors we worked with. And on the …

day of the wedding, they were incredible in helping us and our guests.

The venue was decorated beautifully, and the staff was on top of everything we could ever need.

I think all of us left Riddle's Court knowing we couldn't have found a better place even if we tried. It was truly wonderful to have our wedding there alongside history and our guests.

Both me and my spouse will forever be grateful to have had our wedidng there.

Exceptional!

From our initial conversations with Taylah and Erin, we have done nothing but praise Riddle's Court and the staff there.

Everything in the lead up to booking the venue and agreeing what we wanted for decoration was no trouble at all - even when we took our time.

We had a wonderful elopement at Riddle's Court with a celebrant and bagpiper. The Riddle's Court staff were very helpful with our planning process and the venue itself is a magical place for any event. We loved the warm and spacious interior and the ancient courtyard.

Great place! Everyone was so welcoming and made the day very special. We had a very small and intimate wedding and the venue was superb! The building and room had so much character and made amazing photos!
