everything run smoothly from initial prep, to walking down the aisle. With myself and my husband being based in London it was imperative for us to have someone reliable and organised at the venue that we felt we could trust and Becci was our dream come true!
She was 100% professional but warm and understanding and from the minute we arrived at Rockliffe for the wedding she looked after all the wedding party and made us feel like everything was under control so we could relax and enjoy! No problem was too big or small, nothing was an inconvenience, everything was taken care of and she made us feel like the most important people in the world.
As for the rest of the staff at Rockliffe they couldn't have been more helpful - Anton and his team were great at helping with all our luggage, moving around and a special thanks to them for dropping my gran off where needed in the golf buggy!
Colin and Graeme were amazing during the wedding breakfast and evening reception - they kept everything running smoothly, again friendly and compassionate but reliable and professional at all times.
When it comes to the food our guests could not have been happier - the beef was a particular hit which will go down in legend I'm sure.
Rockliffe really did live up to its 5 star reputation, the hotel was spotless at all times, which was very important to us, the wedding ran smoothly from start to finish with all staff working with finesse.
Our guests could not have been more complimentary of Rockliffe from start to finish and we are so happy to have spent our special day there.

managers and they were just as amazing as Becci. The staff at Rockliffe cannot do enough for you they are fab! From the moment to enter at reception nothing's a problem to them. They do personal little touches that make the difference.

You always imagine the perfect wedding and I can honestly say the big day surpassed all my expectations. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Our toast master Robert Leeming made our day extra extra special too.

My advice for anyone contemplating going to see Rockliffe Hall Hotel for a wedding venue is to definitely go see it and discuss your requirements with the wedding team. There are options if you are on a budget too so don't think it will be out of your price range they are happy to go through all options with you.

Rockliffe is the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in and the grounds are stunning for pictures. I'm so pleased we picked this venue for our wedding as we plan to go back and stay for every anniversary to come!

The staff on the day were amazing. They made sure we did not have to think about the time or where we needed to be, we just enjoyed our day. Not only were the staff on hand at every point should we need anything but for all our guests too. You only had to turn around and someone would be there to get whatever you needed. We lobed our day and they made sure it was special for us. A huge thank you to all of the staff, you really did look after everyone there and made sure the venue looked just how we wanted it to.

You were so cool, calm and collected... without your help, we would not have made it down the aisle in one piece. You were certainly made for this job!!

Bernard... thank you for keeping everything running so smoothly. You are a thoroughly nice guy and you made my Grandma's day by walking her down the aisle.

Anton and Lee- thank you for seeing to our every need. Lee you were fantastic for running myself and bridesmaids back to the lodge to prevent us from getting drenched in the rain. I've come to realise that nothing is too much trouble at Rockliffe Hall and I'm not used to that level of service. That's why I know it's a special place!

Since meeting with my family and friends post wedding, everyone had such a lovely time, thought the venue was truly beautiful and that the food was amazing! Lee and I wholeheartedly second that! All in all we feel so fortunate to have had our wedding at Rockliffe Hall, it certainly has a special place in our hearts now and you all should be so proud to know that you are the ones to make it so! We can't wait to return and reminisce about our magical day!! Keep on being brilliant!!

Richard our toastmaster was fantastic he made all of our guests feel so welcome and had everyone laughing. amazing day! From the catering and service staff, to Bernard the master of ceremonies, Colin overseeing the event and the wedding planners Becci and Judy, everyone was so lovely and so helpful. Special thank you's to Becci Still the wedding planner who fixed my bridesmaids broken zip with seconds to spare before the ceremony... You were amazing.
Every guest commented how elegant the venue was and how amazing the food had been. I would thoroughly recommend Rockliffe Hall as a wedding venue and the wedding planners make the run up to the wedding (15 months for us) very enjoyable and completely stress free!! Just fantastic!!

the wedding we were kept on track and involved in everything Rockliffe needed us to organise. The communication on the whole was excellent; all questions answered quickly and nothing was too much trouble (even when I asked for an extra guest 3 days before the wedding). The only miscommunication we had was over the food choices. We were initially told at our tasting that the top table could have their pick of the menu and then later it transpired only a choice of two were available. However due to a couple of our guests having special dietary requirements we were allowed minor alterations and these were appreciated. Becci made sure that all our choices about the theme were respected and our simple wedding was made elegant with her help.

The rooms made available to me to get changed were beautiful and new. Likewise the accommodation we had on the night and our guests had were all beautiful and well looked after. Unfortunately we could not use the spa facilities due to having our son with us and this meant we were not allowed in.

On our return to Rockliffe the suite was dressed beautifully, the gifts, cake, and favours we had left beforehand were set up perfectly. All the staff at Rockliffe were extremely professional and could not do enough for us. The meal was delicious and just right for all our guests, including children. Each element of the day I asked for was completed and any problems, if there were any, were dealt with before we needed to know. The grounds were perfect for photographs and all our guests enjoyed themselves. The special treat of leftover sparklers was an added bonus to the day.

We originally had the Rockliffe Suite booked for our ceremony as we had too many guests for the Orangery. I was gutted about this as I loved how beautiful the Orangery was. Months went by & I had come to terms with the fact it was not going to be in the room I wanted. But Becci went out of her way to find a different style chair (smaller) so that the orangery would fit all of our guests in. I was so happy!! It definately made our day so much better being in two separate rooms for the ceremony & the wedding breakfasts with having so many guests.

The day of the wedding wouldn't of ran so smoothly without the amazing banqueting manager (Graham) & toastmaster (Bob) who took control of the full day. I didn't have a panic on about anything at all because they had already said it or done it before I even thought it.

Can't recommend this venue enough to people, we will never forget the whole experience of our wedding day and can't thank Becci & everyone part of planning and running the day enough.

it all came together perfectly and I'm sure there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make that happen.

We would also like to thank Bob our toast master on the day, he really did make everything go just to plan and from feedback we have received so far made all of our guests feel welcome and kept them upto date with timings ect, he really made the day feel organised and relaxed and for that we thank you very much.

And lastly Colin - he was very good, the service was very friendly and attentive, the food service was not rushed nor too long everything went very smoothly.

unfortunately didn't happen!! Thankfully you both have been very true to your word which contributed to the day being so perfect!

Secondly... Robert (or Bob).... Where do I start?? Such a lovely gentle, caring man! He was simply outstanding on the day and definitely stole the hearts of both mothers! As a bride... He was defiantly my "batman" for the day and I can't thank him enough! He made the day go seamlessly. Even the day after the wedding he was there to help and assist.... What gentleman he is!

Thirdly ... Colin... Wow!!! He was equally as outstanding!!! He constantly kept us updated and "in the loop" about the runnings of the day to which we are truly thankful for! He always had a smile on his face and nothing was too much trouble! In addition...He always maintained professionalism and always went the extra mile! He too was only happy to help the following day... No one realises how important this is when you are trying to pack up your wedding with a hangover!!

I know the day involved a lot of hard work from all the staff at Rockliffe including reception staff to concierge to bar staff to housekeeping... Can you please pass on our thanks as these people and their hard work have not gone unnoticed.

and professional, we had no worries. Anything we needed was arranged and our day was personalised to make it the day we had imagined.

On the day everything ran so smoothly. With other weddings we knew that there was stages for different things to happen but it ran so well, there wasn't any periods where any of the guests were waiting. We had quite a few small children during the day time and they were well catered for, with high chairs and a separate menu to keep them happy.

If people stay over before or after the wedding, the rooms are amazing, so no worries there.

Couldn't recommend Rockliffe Hall enough as the place for you to hold your wedding day. It has the WOW factor which all our guests definitely agreed with and nothing was too much for people working there to sort.

We wouldn't change anything from our wedding day, and can definitely say it was the best day of our lives.

beautiful the food and venue was. Our wedding was flawless and we have wonderful memoires of a perfect day which will last a life time. Please see below a little bit of individual feedback.

Becci always made herself accessible to us to answer any questions we had over the telephone or email no matter how small the question. She had answers to questions we didn't even know to ask! It is obvious, that her experience and knowledge of the venue is extensive. We brought along our 18 month old son to our final meeting with Becci and she was extremely kind and helpful with him which was a relief to us during a stressful time.

Master Of Ceremony - Made our special day wonderful. He made everything flow so smoothly, in a very orderly and timely manner. He completely took the pressure off us allowing us to forget about the practical concerns of the event and focus on having a good time, not once did we feel stress on the day thanks to him! He even followed us around with canapes to ensure we ate something and never left my hand empty, no wonder I ended up tipsy!

Colin just seemed to appear from nowhere as our guardian angel with lots of words of wisdom, He was so kind and kept us right all night ensuring Chris and the lads were ready and not too nervous to make their speeches and that Chris and I were ready for our first dance.

Tom worked in the Cocktail Bar on the evening of our wedding and continued to serve us drinks until 5.30am in the Drawing room which we really appreciate. We didn't want the party to end. He has a brilliant sense of humour which was needed to deal with our rowdy guests.

the Wednesday evening and during our wedding breakfast. They all helped to make our wedding day extra special and ensured that it ran smoothly.

The food was delicious and was commented upon by the majority of our guests. It was also mentioned just how good the service was.

I know my mum would also like to mention how helpful the staff were the day before the wedding in ensuring that the cake was delivered safely.

In addition we want to say a massive thank to Becci for helping to calm any pre-wedding nerves and dealing with all our queries so quickly and efficiently. We couldn't have done it without her!

ran to time, food was amazing, staff were informative, efficient yet discreet and nothing was too much trouble. Many people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

It is the most amazing venue we have ever been to. Lovely bedrooms and public rooms, fantastic spa and golf course, awesome food, great staff, lovely drinks.....the list is endless. I feel sorry for people who have never experienced it.

exceptional throughout the day, the canapes were a real treat for our guests, the champagne cocktails were so good it was hard to choose which one to have, and as for the wedding breakfast...it was beyond all expectations. All of our guests are still remarking on it 3 weeks later!
"Best food I have ever had at a wedding" being the most common quote.
From start to finish the staff couldn't do more to help us. They kept us right on everything we needed to do in terms of getting married, offered advice on areas we were unsure about and were there for us whenever we had a question (and I had many!). Becci our wedding coordinator was friendly, professional and faultless. so much so, we are going to miss going to Rockliffe and planning!
During the menu tasting Greame and the chef helped us with our choice, and nothing was a problem.
The day ran so smoothly, and that is down to the lovely staff at Rockliffe, they were so friendly and knew exactly what needed to be done to make our wedding run like clockwork. Greame was amazing on the day, and it was lovely to see a friendly familiar face.
The rooms and choice of accomodation they offer for all guest is brilliant, and there was nothing better than relaxing in a bubble bath while watching TV in the luxury that is their bridal suite, and then strolling down to the Best SPA - bar none in my opinion.
We really can't praise them enough, and we would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a special, amazing wedding day in a beautiful venue.
We are so pleased we made the right choice

it being intrusive. Colin was fab aswell just keeping us updated and the same with Bernard, he was hilarious and kept everything relaxed.

Everything was carried out to perfection whilst still maintaining and relaxed atmosphere thanks to the staff who where great on the day.

Obviously we had a lot of compliments on the beautiful venue and everyone who attended said its was the best wedding they have ever been to. But all in all the day ran perfectly. I wouldn't change a single thing.

our initial look around with you in august 2011, we fell in love it & knew we wanted to have our wedding there. We're just glad we were lucky enough to do it.

You have been so amazingly friendly & helpful from day 1. We missed you when you were on maternity leave but were so happy for you. Other members of staff who took over whilst you were away were also very helpful in answering any queries which we had. We must admit we were very happy to hear that you were back in January & in time for our wedding.

Colin has also been a great & very helpful member of staff. He was fantastic when we met him for our menu tasting in December & gave us outstanding service along with graham on our wedding day.
We were both very nervous on our wedding day but as soon as we arrived & got out of the car at rockliffe, we were met with great, professional & very helpful members of staff who instantly put our minds at ease. We felt confident that the staff knew exactly what would be happening & when which instantly made us relaxed & made us feel excited for our wedding reception.

The room where our wedding was taking place (The Rockliffe Suite) was dressed exceptionally, the attention to detail was phenomenal, we were blown away with his stunning it looked.

We had the most exceptional day & my husband has described it as 'we were treated like a king & queen' which is exactly how we felt for the day.

The reviews from our guests have been fantastic aswell with some saying it's a stunning place & the best wedding that they've ever been to.

We can't thank you all enough but particularly Becci, Colin & Graham.
