Located in Cobham, Surrey, Silvermere Inn on the Lake is in easy reach of London, the South East, and Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

During the warmer months, The Island is the perfect outdoor space to enjoy reception drinks and canapés. As your guests marvel at the views, take a drive on a golf buggy and explore the grounds which allow for endless unique photo opportunities.

The Venue

The Lake Suite is largest of our suites and can accommodate up to 120 guests enjoying a sit-down meal, and up to 200 guests celebrating an evening reception. The room opens up to a private balcony boasting panoramic views across the stunning Silvermere Lake. The room is bright and airy with neutral décor – perfect for a wedding celebration.

The Rydal Suite holds up to 100 guests and is licensed for Civil Ceremonies. The room features large floor to ceiling windows, allowing natural light to flood the room. In the evening, the room can be used to for late night food stations or a photobooth.

Both rooms are located on the first floor allowing your guests to flow perfectly between the spaces.

The Experience

The in-house catering team have crafted a range of menus which offer flexibility when it comes to your catering options. Couples can enjoy a complimentary food and wine tasting, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident about your choices ahead of your special day.

We got married on 12 October 2019 and had an indescribably fantastic day. Our journey started long before this when we met Liza, the wedding coordinator for the Venue, for the first time. She is absolutely amazing and we can't thank her enough. We must have gone to the Venue a dozen times to dwell, …

measure, dance and enjoy being in the room getting ideas etc before the big day. Liza was so incredibly accommodating it made the build up very easy and reassuring. On the day she handle a few hurdles we threw at her (sorry about this) with ease and professionalism. The entire day from start to finish was made so easy and nothing to worry about. it was magical. Even now ( in January) people still talk about the Wedding, how great the Venue looked, how amazing the food was and how lovely the staff were and what a wonderful time everybody had. It rained all day, but Liza still came outside with us as the photographers stand in and helped me with my dress and change of shawls. The outdoor photos are amazing and I'm so glad and thankful that we did it. We can't thank Liza and her team enough for our special, magical, incredible and beautiful day. We got married on Saturday (24th August) and had our wedding reception at Silvermere,
From the moment we viewed it we knew it was perfect. Perfect is an understatement, it looked so beautiful and elegant and everyone was complimenting the venue.

WOW! Everything about this venue is 5*+!! The setting is magical (in all weathers), the food is just incredible and the facilities are so well suited to a wedding. initial meeting right through to the end of the day she made us feel so special and relaxed. Her experience is evident when she suggests things that hadn't even crossed our minds and gave advice and hints to help us make the ultimate decision rather than 'this is the way we do it' which is what we experienced at some other venues we looked at.

Even the small things meant so much, I got food on my dress during our meal and Liza was right there with a damp cloth making sure it was all off before the evening celebrations began. She was able to suggest some really great partner suppliers, all of whom also did a great job!

The food was so delectable that every time we went to Silvermere for a pre-wedding meeting, we just had to stay for something to eat!

We had the most amazing wedding day on 30.03.19. Liza was amazing from the moment we met her to helping us have the most incredible day! Everything ran so smoothly, I had no worries at all. All the food was incredible, nobody went hungry. Certainly a day that will be spoken about in years to come. …
