We got married here on 30th August and it was such a wonderful day.

Our wedding co-ordinator was absolutely perfect and made the day faultless. She was with us the entire day and catered so well to our friends with dietary requirements. The décor and food was perfect, and nothing was too much …

We even had a card and chocolate left in our room from the staff as a congratulations. I would 100% recommend this venue for a wedding.

My wife and I were married at this venue on 18/11/2023, and what can I say?
Everything was fantastic, and the day went without a hitch. The team at the Mercure made sure everything ran smoothly.
I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone planning to marry.

We would highly recommend this hotel and it is worth its money too. The food was amazing from the wedding breakfast to the nighttime buffet.

thank them enough. We met them the week before the party to go over all final details and again they couldn't do enough for us. My husband and I are really grateful. All our guests commented on how lovely the staff were and were amazed at the wedding buffet food. One person said it's the best wedding buffet food they have ever tasted. Thank you so much for this. I didn't catch the names of the 3 ladies in reception but I wanted to say that they were great and they couldn't do enough for us. I would like to thank Mercure St Helens for our lovely stay at their hotel over the weekend. I got married on Saturday, and all their staff were lovely and very helpful. One staff member stuck out to me, and he was a gentleman called Claudio. He was very helpful and went out of his way to help us, …

and he took time out to talk to the little boy who was with me. He is such a lovely person and a great member of staff who you should be proud of.

Also, a great thank you to the chef. Everyone complimented the food in the day and the buffet in the nighttime.
