so well - not only were you so incredibly efficient you were a joy to have around and you really played a big part in our day going as well as it did, and last but not least Mike for being so friendly, funny and welcoming over the 2 days we were at Stonehouse Court - the cocktails served outside in the evening were fantastic also and were a great hit!

Our guests had the best day also and are still telling us how much fun they had. Many of them commented that it was the best wedding they had been to, and loved the venue and grounds.

We must say a special thank you also to the catering team as everyone LOVED their food. They were all hot and delicious! A few people, including me, want the recipe for the sauce that was on the haddock!

We felt very welcomed from day 1, and Stonehouse Court will always hold a special place in our heart. We will definitely return and look forward to the outside bar and spa opening soon!

answer any questions we had.
So the wedding day... it was utterly perfect! Myself and my bridesmaids stayed in the beautiful bridal suite the night before and Jack and his best man stayed down the corridor. This made the morning more calming for both of us. Dom was on hand all day offering us advice and giving us heads up for what was to happen. We got married outside of the Caroline Suite and it was beautiful! All of our guests commented on how extraordinary the venue was. Our drinks on the terrace were superb in the sun. Whilst this was happening, the staff laid out the tables perfectly for us and had us quickly check them. The food was phenomenal and all guests (including some with severe food allergies) were catered for. After this, we were welcomed outside whilst the Caroline suite was quickly set up for our evening disco. Again, absolutely perfect! The evening food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. They complimented our playlist that we made ourselves to be played on the speakers outside whilst the guests waited (a brilliant idea!).
Basically, we cannot fault Stonehouse Court. We will be recommending you to everyone we know. Our photos are going to be beautiful thanks to the fantastic venue. Thank you Stonehouse Court. You made our day truly perfect!

OUTSTANDING! Many guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had and we loved that guests had a full choice of the menu for no extra cost. The day led by Dominic was really smooth and well run. Emmanuel was utterly fantastic in supporting us and with a minor medical emergency. Paige was amazing in the run-up; very organised and supportive.
I cannot recommend this venue more strongly- it was unbelievably good value and we had the best day ever!

wedding where we could spend some time outside enjoying the grounds. The day ran really smoothly, all the staff were helpful professional and friendly. Emanuel looked after us and took care of the smooth running of the day he was brilliant and so friendly. We got to know him and had a laugh with him. Anything you needed he was there, even asking if we needed anything just before he was leaving for the night and we were happy dancing, he done enough and deserved to go home. The food was amazing and all the guests commented on that too. We will definitely come back on our anniversary to enjoy the hotel again. Thank you to Paige who we liased with over the past year, we kept in touch by email and she would always get back to you as soon as she could and would do what she could for any requests we had. Thankyou again for a fantastic wedding.

problems,the bar staff were very helpful and always happy to help, the Caroline Suite was a lovely place to get married and the staff made the room look fantastic,the food for the wedding breakfast was first class and the buffet for the evening disco was lovely ,the disco in the evening was great which came with the package, I would highly recommend Stonehouse Court Hotel as a great venue for a wedding or any party.

she was there for me and Dale all the way through our organising, Paige is very professional and knew exactly what we wanted.
The night before our wedding we were introduced to Dominic who would be our wedding speaker on the day, he is so friendly and really put us as ease.
I stayed the night before with my daughter in law (chief bridesmaid) and was made to feel very important and special, all the staff were friendly and made me and my bridesmaid feel very welcome
The morning of the wedding Paige,Dominic and the staff on duty were great at making the morning go with ease, delivering anything we needed at our requests.
Paige was especially good with helping and aiding my dad who struggles to get around, think he enjoyed the attention she gave him, my dad loved her.
Paige even went the extra mile and brought Christmas tree lights from her home to decorate the trees in the Caroline suite as I wanted clear lights (rather than the blue lights that they already had decorated the trees) she then removed the decorations already on the trees and redecocorated the trees to my colours.
Dominic was great at the wedding breakfast and made everyone happy, the food was perfect and all came out quickly and hot, Both Paige and Dominic with the help of the staff worked so hard to make our day perfect, there was nothing we would change, the day was exactly how we wanted it and that was all thanks to the staff.
I couldn't thank them enough, all the staff were friendly and always smiling, It felt like the staff wanted to make our day special not that it was just their job, All the staff were/are a asset to Stonehouse Court

staff are polite and attentive and the food was amazing.
Being a winter wedding the weather can always play a part, and I am still not sure how they managed to arrange a perfect crisp cold day with clear blue skys !!
We had the most perfect day that was managed by Paige, Emmauel and Dominic. But everyone from Caroline at breakfast through the bar staff (sorry mate I cannot remember you name) to the table waiting staff, everyone gave 100% to make our day one to remember and need a special mention. They didn't need to go the extra mile....but they did. Thank you all.
As a couple you always worry about your guests as you are consumed by the day, but the feedback from our guests has been fantastic.
The room we stayed in (room 2) was perfect.....and I plan to book it for our anniversary for years to come (but don't tell my new wife !!)
Being an older couple we maybe expect a little more than young newly weds.....and Stonehouse and the staff delivered in spades.
We thank everyone from the front desk staff, the chef at breakfast (...best full English I have had for years) to the chef and his team for the wedding breakfast...... and I know I am gushing a bit now.....but the praise is totally deserved.
If you are considering Stonehouse as a wedding venue, then consider no more....BOOK IT. You will not be disappointed, if your day is half as good as ours you will have the best day.

coordinator did not seem to really have an understanding of what really was going on l, this could have been down to workload but when you book your wedding it’s a big deal to you and I think simply being remembered would be a start which was not the case on occasion. There was many other issues which followed but we don’t need to detail all of them.

But onto the positive as the day approached they have appointed a coordinator named Paige, who had done all she can to try salvage the reputation which stonehouse court had given us, and with management of Marion I can honestly say by the time the big day was over they done just that, everything ran smoothly in the weeks building up with constant communication and updates, the service they both provided was what we wanted and expected from day one but we can’t thank them enough.

The big day went extremely well and this was down to everyone we saw including Dominic who I didn’t get chance to speak to as clearly was organising and keeping all in check. Also thanks to the bar staff who worked tirelessly to the support staff working with Paige.

ago and initially dealt with Fred who subsequently left for new pastures and the role was taken over by Paige who quite frankly is an asset to the Hotel. So easy to deal with, prompt in getting back to you with answers for any questions or queries, very accommodating and nothing was to much trouble so we really can’t thank her enough and as I said before the day just went far beyond our expectations and it ran like clockwork thanks to the timetable set out beforehand and then Dom & his team seeing it out perfectly.

Also a big thanks to the Genera Manager who was always very welcoming whenever we visited and was very kind when we had our food tasting session.

We really can’t recommend Stonehouse Court Hotel enough for a wedding venue. The staff and venue are just brilliant and if we could do it all again we would do it all the same here.

to be an able replacement. We wanted our wedding to be informal and relaxed with the odd quirky touch. She quickly understood what we were aiming for and was well organised, responsive, friendly and reassuring. The hotel was more than happy to accommodate the various special diets of a number of our guests as well as the arrangements we wanted for the large number of young children attending.
We had what initially looked like a setback when about 5 weeks before the wedding we were informed that Paige was unwell and wouldn’t be back in work until about a week before our wedding. We had a somewhat unsatisfactory meeting with a member of staff but before matters escalated the General Manager Marian Jurko stepped in. He was very proactive in resolving things and was keen to take the stress out of the situation for us, so Dominic, who would be running our wedding day, took over as our point of contact. Although we were concerned to have had four wedding coordinators in our preparation, and to have to revisit our requirements four times, we were happy with how the hotel responded to the unexpected difficulties.
On the day we were cared for brilliantly by Dominic. Everything flowed and seemed effortless. All the food was lovely, the weather held out and we were able to enjoy the grounds. The Caroline Suite lawn and children’s play ground came into their own. The staff were friendly and attentive, our guests felt well looked after and were very complimentary about the hotel and the wedding.
Thank you Paige and Dominic, you are an asset to the team. Knowing what we know now, would we choose Stonehouse Court as our wedding venue if we were doing it again...Yes we would.

Paige we were quickly reassured there was nothing to be worried about! Paige was brilliant, so friendly and organised, always quick to respond to any queries, left nothing to concern. no-one could have anticipated (our wedding cake collapsing in transit for example), but at every stage the team at Stone House Court rushed to our rescue and got things back on track.

I'd like to say a special thank you to Paige who was our rock in the lead up to the big day, answering all our questions (of which there were many, large and small) with speed, efficiency and reassurance. It was always going to be a stressful time but Paige gave us the confidence that when we turned up on the day everything would be taken care of, and it was!

I'd also like be thank Emanuel who ran the day for us and ensured we were in the right places at the right times, he was courteous, professional and reassuring which meant that we could forget about the organisation and enjoy our day! I would particularly like to thank him for being so accommodating with timings, within reason we was happy to push thing forward or backwards as required which really helped to make the day stress free, I cant thank him enough.

The venue itself is beautiful and having just received our wedding photos it really makes all the difference! We've got some amazing memories and the photos only go to reinforce them.

Lastly and by no means least, the food, given the number of people being served at once I didn't expect the food to be much more than average but I'm please to say I was very wrong. The food was beautiful and again the team were very accommodating in looking after one particularly fussy guest by serving a completely separate menu for her!

All I all, we really couldn't have asked for more! Well done all and THANK YOU once again!

was always happy and willing to help and discuss and questions we had. We were kept up to date with every aspect of how our big day would be planned out and this was a great relief In what otherwise could have been a stressful time.
On the evening before the wedding we met Emmanuel, whom would be running the day. He took us through once again the plan for the day and made our minds at ease that we would be taken care of in the best possible way.
Throughout our wedding day nothing was too much trouble for Emmanuel and his team. They Even changing a few times to suit how the day was going.

We had over 150 guests, many of whom stayed the night at the hotel and received the same top notch level of service we did.

of staff were all exemplary, with our guests especially commenting that that food for both the wedding breakfast and evening buffet was brilliant.

The Staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't have done more to help us, Fred in the planning stages was very accommodating to our needs and flexible to what we wanted. On the day itself Emanuel our master of ceremonies, was very keen to please and kept us informed of what was happening throughout the day. Mike the bar man was very enthusiastic and complimentary of our day and our guests, and Paige was also on hand to help in anyway possible during the day, evening and next morning making it for us an amazing day.

The venue was set up to our specifications and issues or queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The facilities and options offered by the hotel and their staff allowed us to adapt our wedding to be everything we wanted it to be and allowed us to cater for and support the different members of our wedding party including very young children, elderly and disabled guests.

Stonehouse Court Hotel is a venue we will be strongly recommending to family and friends in the future for both weddings and other events, and we would like to thank them for helping us make our wedding an amazing day to remember.

dropped all our decor off and the team at Stonehouse set it up for us saving us the hassle (and they did a great job). On the day Dominic was our MC and he was faultless. Calm, relaxed and focused he looked after us perfectly as he negotiated the demands of the day. In the evening Dominic left to serve in the restaurant and things weren't quite as smooth (turnover time of the room was double the length expected pushing our evening time back by half an hour, the bar wasn't always manned and the buffet could have been arranged in a simpler format), and this probably shows the influence Dominic had on our day, just a shame he wasn't around til the end (seriously though, he definitely deserves a promotion, #Dom4President!)

hotel in the morning to going to bed at the end of a very long perfect day. Everything was well orchestrated and executed, decorations were placed exactly as we imagined and you could tell time and precision had been used to make things look just so. The day ran to time and food was served promptly, hot and tasted amazing! Everything was made so easy for us, everything was decorated and layed out for us the night before and the morning after it was as simple as picking up all the items where staff had gathered them for us before finishing for the evening. We genuinely can not thank the hotel and its staff enough for the amazing day we had, we have had the best start to married life and it will always be a special place to us.

Dominic and Paige were extremely helpful the day before our drinks reception and wedding breakfast, allowing us to set-up the room exactly as we wanted. This included additional lighting, styling and decorations. Paige was also a star in making our napkin arrangements.
Dominic and the rest of the staff on the 1st day were well versed in the days proceedings and very helpful. Everything went seamlessly and like clockwork.
On the second day, again the team were very helpful and allowed us to spend many hours setting up the room, ready for our evening reception.
On the evening itself, Finlay, Kaycee and their team made our guests feel welcome. Several times during the evening Finlay spoke to Tina and or myself to check that we were happy with everything, which we were.

The reception team were always very helpful and friendly every time we were at the hotel, both leading upto our wedding days and whilst were there.

The atmosphere, friendliness and relaxed style was exactly what Tina and I were looking for. We would have no hesitation in recommending Stonehouse Court Hotel and the whole team to other couples.

photographer Malcolm Edgeworth, DJ Marc and Stefan the photobooth owner certainly all helped to achieve this. The setting was perfect. Stonehouse Court, the Caroline Suite and hotel facilities were excellent. Fred, the Sales and Marketing Manager, Mario the Hotel Manager and their respective teams all worked diligently to ensure everything ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was delivered with a smile, politeness and helpfulness. In fact a number of our guests commented on how helpful and polite the staff were. The room changeover from the Wedding Ceremony to Wedding Breakfast to the evening disco was carried out with precision. The Wedding Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was fun sampling the menu options in the run up to the Wedding day. The planning for the Wedding ran smoothly and relatively easy because of the support, help and advice that we received from Fred. The Honeymoon Suite also added to the charm of the day.
There were, however, so minor niggles.
We had great expectations of the Hog Roast in the evening but the presentation of this was disappointing. Perhaps our expectations were too high when you consider that it was New Year and that there was a New Years Gala dinner going on in the main hotel.
We also noticed, belatedly, when the dessert was being served that the Wedding Breakfast wine had not been replenished at a more appropriate time. On the night we were told that there would some fireworks at midnight. Close to midnight this was changed which caused confusion. This lead to our Guest "Piper" being messed about.
Despite these small niggles we would certainly recommend the Stonehouse Court as the perfect Wedding Venue.

All in all there was nothing we would have changed, we were so chuffed. Special mention needs to go to Fred & Paige for attending to the pre-planning, & then on the day before & day itself, Paige (again!), Dominic & Casey. It's also important to say that the venue was amazing value for money, Fred helped fit our wishes to our budget, & our wedding felt much more luxurious than the cost would suggest.

came to the actual wedding day we were handed over to our actual team that would run the day. Meeting them all the evening before the actual wedding day was lovely extra I was not expected. A charming guy called Dominic ran our actual day, and once again he was so accommodating, professional, charming and just everything you would expect.

Fred, the sales manager, was very helpful throughout the process particularly when we had to change the date of our wedding at relatively short notice. We had regular contact with Fred in the lead up to the wedding and met with him, Dominic and Molly the day before to run through the final plans.

On the day of the wedding we were looked after superbly by Dominic and Molly throughout the day. They were kind enough to meet us at the Church with a brolly and a glass of Pimms and had made sure the Caroline suite was set up just how we’d hoped. Dominic was regularly making sure we were happy with how things were going and never far away if we needed him.

The meal was lovely and piping hot. Everybody we spoke to commented on how enjoyable the food was and those with dietary requirements were suitably catered for too. The Caroline suite seated the 80 guests we had for the wedding breakfast comfortably and was perfect for the live band and 100 evening guests. As with the meal earlier in the day, everybody commented on how good the evening buffet was. Later in the evening when Dominic handed over to Fin who was equally as accommodating for the rest of the night.

We visited the hotel a number of times ahead of the wedding and found that the staff couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and help us where needed. In particular Rita (reception) was very pleasant and we’re thankful for the help she gave to one of our elderly relatives who fell near to reception during the reception drinks.

We can’t thank you all enough for helping make our special day run so smoothly.

him the night before our wedding, and as there was a wedding the day before, he ran through the day and we explained where we would like our decorations to go. My husband and I were blown away when we saw the Caroline Suite it looked amazing. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious and was brought to our tables swiftly so we all ate at the same time. Big thank you to the chefs working that day. Dominic was there every step of the way to ensure everything went to plan. We held our evening reception in The Caroline Suite for 120 guests - Again all of our guests commented on how good it was. In the evening, we feel Finn did above and beyond what we were expecting. Our guests had an absolutely fantastic day.
To sum up our wedding it was perfect - Everything we had hoped and more. The venue was magical - A massive thank you again to the chefs, Fred, Dominic and Finn - You are all totally amazing.

picturesque canal. The garden was lovely for photos. Part of the hotel is a modern block where the majority of the rooms are. The large bridal suite is in the old part of the hotel and has a four poster bed complete with new mattress. Our reception, in the separate Caroline suite, has been tastefully refurnished. Self-contained with its own adaptable function room, bar area and toilets. Also windows overlooking "our" private garden and terrace. The hotel staff were all friendly and professional. I was particularly impressed with staff you changed the function room over to our wedding breakfast layout. They had an event in the room the night before our wedding and the majority of the change over was after the event - a late night. On several visits to the hotel we saw a range of room layouts, including partitioning the room to allow a ceremony and a meal. We met with the staff the day before the wedding to tell them how we wanted the room to look and they did a lovely job. (Note: Usually if the room if free the wedding party can arrange the room themselves).
The terms and conditions make it clear from the beginning how the hotel works with you. Fred Metcalfe the wedding co-ordinator was professional and prompt in responding to our emailed plans. Emmanuel looked after us well on the day keeping everything on track. You can tell this hotel has done many weddings as they have it down to a fine art. I would also like to thank all the unseen helpers for the day, catering, housekeepers, waiters and room organisers who make it all look so effortless and without whom there would be no reception!

planning to the day of the wedding.
The day of our wedding ran very smoothly. Dominic was excellent, very professional and made sure everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble for him.
The venue was beautiful and the food was excellent. Some people commenting it was the best food they ever had. It was served timely and all people on one table were served at the same time with 3 members of staff serving. However, a minor point, we asked for waiters to top up the wine throughout the meal, but we had to ask for this to be done as the waiters didn't seem to do this when needed.
The play park area was brilliant for the children at our wedding and also the many green areas were great for them to run around. All guests were amazed at how lovely the hotel and its setting was.
Many guests commented that the disco was too loud. However, this is a minor point and overall the wedding was amazing, well organised and was probably one of the best venues we have ever been to for a wedding and we would recommend this venue to all our friends.

On the day of our wedding we were unlucky enough to have rain which meant the drinks reception had to be inside. This worked quite well considering I thought there may not have been enough room!
The staff on the day were very helpful and Emmanuel did a great job of attending to our needs and helping us out with anything.
The reception room had been set up brilliantly and the food was great.
I'm very pleased we chose this as our venue and would recommend it to other couples.

of character along with the manor house feel with a high spec modern finish inside the Caroline suite which is designed to cater for a diverse range of wedding themes.

The staff were fantastic and remembered every fine detail and we gave them an extremely detailed plan we wanted to be followed which would have been challenging for any venue yet SCH with their pride of delivering the best at their forefront did an amazing job.

The staff were truly all amazing, the general manager who was recently promoted did an outstanding job and his team were on point and extremely happy while working hard to deliver a magical day.

The venue can cater for a ceremony on site with plenty of parking for all of your guests to stay the night as the reception room is perfect for a wedding party, the sliding opening doors onto your large private garden suited us perfectly and gave us great opportunity to mix up our day which we did with a 55 foot jungle run in the garden along with a singer, ice cream van, garden games. The children were very happy and could play outside with us all being able to see them clearly, it also added an open feel. The venue is also perfect for a fireworks display which went down a treat.

The food was good, some minor improvements could be made but we are extremely difficult to please at times and so I'd maybe take that with a pinch of sale, as part of your wedding package, you take all of the food and drink prior to the big day and so you'll know exactly what to expect.

ourselves. Even tho we were doing it ourselves the staff were on hand to again deal with my demands.
Myself and the bridesmaid were introduced to the wedding team on this night and at first I was a little unsure as they were both so young. How wrong could I be !!!!!! Molly and Dominic were absolutely AMAZING throughout the two days. They put up with a lot of drunk Army guests and they even got me to the alter on time. Everyone included in the immediate wedding party commented on how amazing these two were.
The hours and commitment these two gave to our wedding was above and beyond what I could ever imagine.
I would also like to mention how wonderfully the bar staff were. Casie in particular.

Over all the Stonehouse court hotel is a top venue and I would recommend it to everyone.

there on our actual wedding day but we had Dominic as our master of ceremony, who was absolutely brilliant throughout the day. He was so friendly and made us both feel at ease. He kept checking in with us to make sure everything was just how we wanted it and generally seemed like a really nice chap. We were also really impressed with Lynnie, who was in charge of the decorations for our day. We had hoped to be able to decorate the Caroline Suite ourselves the day before so I was quite worried when I found out that we couldn't due to another event being on. There was absolutely no need to worry though as we left instructions as to how we wanted everything to look and it was done wonderfully. We've since had many comments from our guests on what a lovely location it was and we were lucky enough to have brilliant weather which meant we got to hold our ceremony outside and everyone could have a wander around down by the canal, etc, in between the day and evening part. We opted for afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast which was delicious! We then had a BBQ in the evening which was pretty good too. The only complaints I would have out of the whole day was that our DJ wasn't the best (to be perfectly honest) who was booked through the hotel but I think that comes down to personal taste. The other was that the band had some difficulty with the power switching off due to a sound level device in the function room - perhaps this is something that needs to be looked at. Nothing could spoil our day though as it went so well and we were really happy with the location, food and staff. Thank you Stonehouse Court Hotel!

but last minute Marion changed things around as the bride was so disappointed about having it inside and organised everything outside this made us both very happy! A special thank you to Marion, Dominique and Emanuelle they were exceptional!! It will be a day we will never forget with wonderful memories! We would always return to Stonehouse Court and recommend to others! We think its definitely more than a 3 star hotel! Our guests commented on what a wonderful venue and the best wedding they had ever been too! Thanks again to all of the team at Stonehouse Court you should be proud of yourselves!

wedding day was magical and because of Domanic, Molly and the team completely stress free. We left the room decorations with the team and we were absolutely delighted with the results. requests and many emails ahead of the day to being on hand on the day nothing was too much trouble.

The staff at the hotel were second to none. Not only on our visits but also over the phone and on the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble. You should be proud.

The day before the wedding we were met by our team for our big day, Dominic and Molly. Such stars and attention to detail surpassed our expectations and always happy to accommodate every wish. From providing a room to arrange flowers to decorating the Caroline Suite to are exact wishes. Dominic certainly made us feel at ease and Molly always with a smile. I appreciate the long hours that the staff have to endure but this never seemed to phase anyone. Always happy to help and gracious with it.

The day itself was perfect including the weather. All seating set outside and the Suite set up fit for a queen. Dominic rushing around to ensure timings were kept and always keeping guests and the bride and groom informed and updated. Little touches like coming to the room to collect myself, bridesmaid and pageboy to Molly expertly managing music for the ceremony.

The food on the day was out of this world. Piping hot, delicious and served so swiftly by expert staff. The white gloves they wore to serve was just an added touch of class. One guest commented " I asked for some wine as champagne doesn't agree with me " of course, what type of wine would you like" a first she said.

A simply fantastic day in the most gorgeous of venues and all topped off by the quality and attentiveness of the staff.

This simply was the best day of our lives and made so by all at Stonehouse Court.

polite, smart and courteous to all guests. My husband and I genuinely had the most incredible day from start to finish. There are two members of staff that stood out for us on the day that I think deserve recognition for their superb service, these two people would be Dom and Emannual. They were attentive throughout but still in the background, they could not do enough for us and the guests, they are an absolute credit to stonehouse court hotel. Everyone has not stopped talking about our wedding, over a week later, whether it be from the boat, helicopter or venue! You would not believe how many people have said to us that was the best wedding they have ever attended, and quite honestly I know I'm biased but I agree and would do it all again in a heartbeat!!!

Our guests all commented on the quality of the food throughout the day and how welcoming the lady on the reception desk was. The hotel is beautiful and I'm sure our photographs around the grounds will be lovely. The bridal suite was amazing and the breakfast the next day was lovely. Caroline suite had recently been refurbished. We had several meetings with Fred the wedding coordinator before the wedding day and he was always very helpful & always on hand to answer any question I felt I needed to ask. Also as part of our package we had the bridal suite the night of the wedding, I decided to book a room at the venue the night before the wedding and received a call the day before to ask if I would like to be upgraded to the bridal suite that night also, at no extra charge which was extremely kind. On the actual day Marion took charge of our day along with his entire team who went above & beyond making sure we knew where we had to be and what we had to do. The weather was miserable but could not dampen the mood of the day it was fantastic & Marion made sure to be there with a brolly everytime I needed to venture out into the wet. They are also very flexible with the plan and elements of the day. We changed a number of things leading up to our date and the team were happy to accommodate this. We even needed to make a few changes to meal options during our day (due to unstated dietary requirements) and the team were happy to make changes quickly and effectively, with no delays to serving food.

During the day the team and our "Master of Ceremonies" Marion kept us informed of what was going to happen next and checked we were happy before proceeding. At no point did they try to rush things, despite the fact that the day had slipped behind schedule due to photos etc. Instead he did an excellent job of informing guests of what will happen next and maintained a flexible plan.

All of this combined with the newly renovated Caroline Suite (which a number of guests commented on how nice it was) to make our day special.

We planned the event with Fred for 12 months who helped us achieve what we set out to do and then it was handed over to the team on the morning of our wedding. The gentleman that ran our day was everything we could ask for. There were a few hiccups but he put them right and he made sure we were both happy with everything throughout the day and kept us updated. I am someone who is quite organised and fussy but he really did pull out all the stops and made sure all that we visualised came true. The weather wasn't great as we picked this venue for the beautiful grounds but it didn't affect our day which was truly magical. Thank you to the team at Stonehouse Court Hotel for turning our dream wedding into reality. We will return and always be fond of this location for the memories it holds.

We got married in the pagoda outside, had drinks and canapes in the hotel garden, then moved to the Caroline Suite and the private garden where we had teas/coffees, a lovely BBQ and an evening disco. As well as the BBQ we have eaten at the hotel a few times now and the food has always been really good.

Fred heads up the event team and he has been great to work with, we met with him 4 times before our wedding day to go through all of the details and he was happy to accommodate all of our plans and was quick to email back to any email queries. Fred was there on the day but Dominic ran the day for us making sure everything was in place and he was fantastic! The venue wasn't ready very early in the morning but this was due to there being a prom on the night before, however Dominic made sure everything was as we wanted it and we were able to check everything was correct before our guests went into the Caroline Suite.

The difficulties we had leading up to the wedding were all to do with the room bookings, the booking system is disorganised so our advice is to ensure couples work closely with Fred to secure and confirm names against rooms as early as possible. The only complaints we had from our guests were from those staying in the Garden Wing which is the newer area of the hotel, I would say that these rooms are dated and a bit over-priced however it is fantastic to have rooms for guests to stay in on site avoiding a lot of hassle.

Overall we had a fantastic day and would highly recommend this venue for weddings!! Best bits - their flexibility, the food, Fred & Dominic x

meeting through to completion of our wonderful wedding at Stonehouse Court.

He insured our wedding was personally tailored to suit our requirements which was executed perfectly on the day.

On arrival the day before the wedding we were very impressed with all the staff who made sure we were happy with the layout of the room in which we would celebrate our wedding breakfast.

In the evening my bridesmaids and I had a fabulous meal in the hotel restaurant. Marion ensured we had a lovely evening, he was extremely attentive and his advice of wine choice was most appreciated. I would highly recommend both the superb service and delicious food.

Marion made himself available to us both before and during our wedding day. A gentleman who went above and beyond his role to ensure customer satisfaction. We really appreciated his warm friendly personality.

Emmanuel was delightful. His calm professional manner was exemplary. He put us at ease throughout the whole proceedings. His confident approach enabled us to trust he would ensure the day would run smoothly. In his very capable hands we relaxed and enjoyed the whole day from start to finish.

We have had many compliments from our guests regarding the food and service we experienced from all the staff.

We cannot thank you all enough for the wonderful day we had and have no hesitation in highly recommending Stonehouse Court as the perfect choice for a wedding venue.

said no to! Even after last minute changes he was overly helpful and reassuring. On the day all of the staff were helpful and profession. All of the guests felt very welcome. The building itself is absolutely perfect for the wedding we want. I never thought with the budget i had that i could afford the wedding that Fred made available for me. Absolutely everything was perfect. There were no just smile and pretend it hasn't happened moments. The day went smoothly and everything ran on time. The food was fantastic as was the service. We seriously could not have found a better venue.

wedding questions, and again nothing was to much trouble. At no stage did I feel like I was being a nuisance. Fred responded to email and queries and went above and beyond to cater for our needs. He made us feel very welcome and at ease with the wedding preparations.
Before the wedding days itself, myself and my bridesmaids stayed in a room which we shared so we could enjoy a 'girls night in' . When we woke we had a lovely breakfast and started to get ready, safe in the knowledge that the staff had everything under control. We had outside suppliers doing our music and entertainment and the staff ensured they were all set up and everyone was looked after.
We had the ceremony at Stonehouse Court and again every effort was made to ensure the room looked lovely.
The venue itself has beautiful trees all lit up on an evening, and near by walk with a lock and weir at the bottom of the garden, making beautiful pictures.
The food on the day was top notch and everyone complimented how good it was. It arrived like clock work and to a very high standard.
Mario was our toast master and was overseeing the days plans went well. He was one of the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever met. Nothing was to much trouble. He was so polite and checked in to make sure everything was just how we wanted it and ensured that everything went to plan. If there were any hitches I am still completely unaware.
I can not find fault with our day, everything and everyone did an outstanding job, if your thinking of booking a wedding with Stonehouse Court - go for it! It was a PERFECT day - and the staff played a massive role in this

moment I met Fred (wedding coordinator) at Stonehouse Court I found him to be extremely personable as well as professional, efficient and organised. It’s not often you get all of these qualities wrapped up in one person and when you do – wow, It makes things run smoothly! He completely put my mind at rest and my husband and I felt like we were in safe hands.
We booked our wedding in and began developing a contract with all of my touches and instructions to the hotel included in it.

Our Wedding breakfast food tasting followed shortly, which was insightful and helped us to make some informed decisions as to what we would like to feed our guests with. At this point Marion (food and beverage manager) gave us a lovely wine tasting experience, which was also very helpful. As a result I couldn’t have been happier with the food and wine served at our Wedding.
Along the way we had several meetings at the hotel, where we were always welcomed warmly and taken good care of. The meetings were always productive and reassuring.
Whenever I had any questions, Fred was always at the end of the phone or email, and promptly responded (this is something that is very important to me and Fred always delivered).

The day before the wedding we had a meeting with both Fred and Marion, Marion would be leading our day as it was a Saturday.
Again, the men were helpful and thoughtful and even helped with the check in process and carrying my luggage (there was lots of it!!) up to the room I was staying in the night before with my bridesmaids.
I went off for the church rehearsal and a big rehearsal dinner in Bisley, where I was getting married and upon my return had a meeting with Nicole to discuss napkin what a treat to have all the people you care about in once place for the evening and they’re all celebration your wedding! It was an electric atmosphere, everyone was having a fabulous time and the bar was BUSY! Having said that, I asked for it to be fully staffed and had warned Fred that w would most likely be drinking it dry…. And once again the team delivered on all levels. Nothing was too much trouble and no-one waited too long for a drink, they also made sure my husband and I were well taken care of all night with bar service etc, which was very kind.
We partied hard into the evening and invited the staff to join us after their shift and we were glad when they did. By this point I felt like we had really got to know the staff and they were certainly a special part of our day also.
Marion – you were amazing!

The rooms for myself the night before the wedding and the bridal suite for myself and my husband were prepared to the highest standards and were truly romantic, beautiful spaces to be in. We loved staying there!
Also – a quick mention to the house keeping and breakfast staff on the morning of the wedding, who promptly removed the roll away beds for me when required as well as providing extra chairs into the room at the drop of a hat – it was very much appreciated and again, wonderful service.
Breakfast was lovely and they even accommodated two special guests of mine on the Sunday when they arrived down 15 minutes or so after the breakfast service had finished (it was a long night!) … allowing them to have a full English, which again was beyond the agreed service level and very much appreciated.
THANK YOU to everyone mentioned and everyone who I’ve not mentioned for making my Wedding Day the best day of my life, without question … and that’s meant in no sense of the cliché!!!

at, we then went on to look at 7 more venues but without doubt Stonehouse Court was above and beyond all of the others for us so quickly booked our wedding there.
We met with Fred the wedding and event coordinator, who was fantastic and really made us feel at ease and comfortable. Fred was reassuring and talked us through the whole process step by step making sure we were able to plan our perfect day. Throughout the following 18 months we met with Fred regularly and had lots of contact via email. He was always professional and personable installing confidence in us. Fred was excellent and made sure the planning ran smoothly throughout the whole process.
The night before I stayed at Stonehouse Court Hotel with my two bridesmaids. We were meet by Fred, Marion and Siobhan who again reassured us that the day would run smoothly and checked any last minutes details with me to make sure they got it exactly right. This was really reassuring and helped me to relax the night before.
On the day Marion the Duty Manager looked after us and our guests. We had met with Marion a number of times before the ‘big day’ and he was also fantastic. Very upbeat and filled with energy. Marion made sure the day ran without a hitch, we were consulted throughout the day to make sure things were to our liking but without being bothered or feeling any pressure. We really could relax and enjoy our special day with it all just running along exactly as we had imagined.
Throughout the whole hotel you come across a number of staff and I can honestly say each and every one of them was polite and always said hello and fell over themselves to help you. It is a really lovely atmosphere at Stonehouse Court and this is made by the beautiful venue and the lovely staff that work there.
Stonehouse Court has beautiful grounds and is also really lovely inside the manor house, this is one of the reasons we picked this location as it catered for any weather and we knew our pictures would be lovely either way. We were very lucky to have a beautiful sunny day and enjoy our reception drinks out on the terrace with our singer preforming in the back ground.
We would definitely recommend Stonehouse Court to all Bride and Grooms as they really will try and carter for your dream wedding (we even had fairground games and a rodeo bull!!) the whole wedding experience was made perfect by the venue and all the staff that help. wanted and didn't push for us to take extra, he offered advice and assistance wherever required.

Fred pre-booked all of out hotel rooms for both my husband and I as well as our guests.

The day went so wonderfully well we can only say it is thanks to Fred and the team for not just being so organised but being so attentive.

The wedding breakfast along with the evening buffet was just delicious, we had several chefs attend and they were extremely complimentary about the quality of the food.

The venue, stunning is the only way we can describe it, in fact we have returned twice since our wedding.

The team, we can honestly say the whole team were just amazing, Fred, Molly, shivohne, Nicole and many others were out of this world (Fred, can you please add the rest of names as I have lost my paperwork and don't want to miss anyone).

We would like to thank everyone at stone house court for making our day so very special and look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

did a wonderful job again any problem we had he sorted. All the staff were a credit especially Oli behind the bar, he made my guests very welcome.

The only negative I have about the hotel are the rooms, they were looking a little bit tired and needed a bit of money spending on them. Apart from that the beds were comfy and slept like a baby.

Overall me and Roy had a perfect day we couldn't ask for any more and most of all my guests enjoyed themselves, thank you all for the most special day of our lives!
