Swinton Park

Set within the stunning Yorkshire Dales, Swinton Park is a beautiful and unique castle setting for your special wedding celebrations. The grand historic building, situated in 20,000 acres of picturesque parkland and gardens, provides an idyllic backdrop for your big day.

Swinton Park hotel offers a variety of function rooms to choose from for your ceremony, wedding breakfast or evening celebrations. From the small and intimate to the large and lavish, we have a space to suit you and your specific requirements.

Lake Island, with a quaint Georgian summerhouse is ideal for intimate meals and alfresco dining. The wonderful privacy of the island is beautifully complemented by woodland and birdsong.

Deer House

Alternatively, the beautifully restored Deer House is perfect for those seeking somewhere truly out of the ordinary, for either a daytime wedding breakfast or an evening barbecue celebration. By day, enjoy the parkland setting with ancient trees, wide skies and views over the castle and Home Lake. By night, enjoy the magic and romance of a candle-lit setting, with torches to light the way and glowing braziers to ward off the evening chill, with acoustic music to entertain guests or a silent disco for something that little bit different. 

Swinton Bivouac

Looking for something a little more rustic? Swinton Bivouac allows you to get back to nature with a woodland wedding with the unique druids temple as backdrop, with a Tipi for post ceremony celebrations with stunning views of the Yorkshire countryside. Sleep under a blanket of stars in our Meadow Yurts, Tree lodges and bunkbarn, and there's even a bistro cafe and bar! Your woodland ceremony is without doubt the heart of your wedding day and therefore we believe it should be something you and your guests will remember forever. The woodland ceremony includes hay bale seating and a blank canvas for you to personalise as you wish. After your beautiful ceremony, your guests can enjoy woodland games and explore the area while you have some remarkable photographs taken amongst the woodland.
