it was and how well fed they were!. We can’t thank Jess and Marcella enough for all the effort they put into our special day. Although they do weddings every day, we were still made to feel special by all the staff, which was so lovely. Thank you so much. I would 10/10 recommend it!

complimented how good and well kept the venue was. You guys were amazing at sorting the wedding four times over and over, but we got there in the end. I don’t know how you do it! You were so good at keeping us both so calm and organised. Honestly we can’t thank you enough.

from afar with a venue that I'd never been to was really scary for me, but I am so happy we found the Tankersley. You guys are amazing and are obviously so very good at what you do.

I know we'll be back on anniversaries in future years for sure.

worried or stressed on the day. The staff were lovely, our food was great, and the weather was also glorious. We had the most fantastic celebration with our friends and family despite Covid restrictions. If you are looking for something gorgeous, low key, stress-free to celebrate, then this is the place. Many of our guests booked to stay at Tankersley for a night away and use the spa because they had such a lovely time

communication was brilliant. The Tankersley Suite looked amazing. The staff worked tirelessly throughout the day, going above and beyond when needed. The food was gorgeous. We can’t praise this venue and staff enough. We would both recommend Tankersley in a heartbeat.

whether we would make it this year due to Rob having further life-saving heart surgery back in November and still recovering.

Helen Stewart, who has been our contact this year, has done an amazing job and was always on hand to answer any questions. Abi, who was looking after us the day before and on the day of the wedding, was brilliant and had the patience of a saint even with our 4-year-old niece following her around everywhere for 10 hours asking for cake!! Both Helen and Abi are a credit to your team.

Please say thank you to your chef, the food was amazing, and everyone had passed comments on how nice it was.

The improvements you have made to the hotel are amazing, and we are so glad we chose Tankersley Manor.

was the coordinator on the day, was amazing and made our day run smoothly. My guests have all commented that our wedding was the best they’d ever been to as it was so organised, and everything was thought of. The food was beautiful, and the service on the day was second to none. I would definitely recommend the team at Tankersley!

through the stress of the last year and of course marchial, she was like superwoman!!! From bringing drinks whilst we were getting ready for our wedding ceremony. She was outstanding, We couldn't have asked any more from her. She spent the whole day running around after us. Not only did she make sure everything was perfect for us, but she also made us all feel so special the whole time. She made us feel so comfortable and it was as if we had known her for a long time. We cannot thank Marchial enough for everything she did for us on our Wedding Day and we both wish the very best for her future plans.

the wedding we wanted. Instead, we only found out less than 2 weeks before the big day what we would and wouldn’t be able to do. Helen was absolutely fabulous at keeping us up to date with the latest guidance and allowed us to choose what we wanted to do, go ahead or rearrange for a date they had reserved for us in 2022. We decided to go ahead.

Helen was so good at talking us through what would and wouldn’t be possible. We were disappointed not to use the Crook Barn (no room for a socially distant ceremony). Still, when the day came, the Tankersley suite looked absolutely fantastic, and I didn’t care which room we were in. I was about I marry my fiancé, at long last!

Markela was our coordinator on the day, and she is simply the most wonderful, hard-working person I have ever met. I met her the day before when I dropped things off, and she could not have been more helpful. She is simply brilliant! I felt at ease the minute I met her and knew we were in safe hands. She never stopped helping us on the day and ensured that every detail was taken care of. She even checked us in at reception to save us having to leave our guests. I can’t thank her enough.

The food was absolutely amazing! Everything from the canapés to the main meal to the evening buffet was absolutely delicious, and there was so much of it! I could barely eat my evening food due to being full from the main meal. It was beautiful.

I can’t thank the Tankersley Team enough. They were all fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, and I wish I could do it all again!

Tankersley Manor kept us continuously informed and made us feel at ease at an already stressful time. Nothing was too much to ask, and with the uncertainty of the pandemic, we never once felt worried that we would be forced into something we wouldn't want. Instead, they were completely accommodating and gave us the choice of whatever we wanted, to make sure our day was still special.

The day itself was perfect. Not a single thing went wrong with the staff doing everything they could to make sure we had the best day! For the evening reception, we had one of the Tipis in their courtyard with heaters underneath. We even said, if the restrictions had allowed us inside, we would have 100% done it again the way we did. The Tipis are something different with a really relaxed atmosphere. The food was out of this world with really generous portions. They have also decorated the whole outside area beautifully, so we didn't even need to add anything ourselves. They also arranged for their resident DJ to play backing music which was such a magical moment watching the sunset with our friends and family listening to some summer vibes.

For anyone thinking of this place as a potential venue, I would highly recommend going down to check it out. The building itself is stunning and they make incredible Wedding pictures. They have also recently renovated the majority of the inside, bringing it up to date and modern but keeping the traditional features of this beautiful building. We also found the wedding packages to be really competitive and good value for money considering everything included.

To all you future brides and grooms, or even to those who fancy a relaxed evening out, we would 100% recommend the Tankersley Manor Hotel & Spa.

of the hotel on the night of our wedding. Fortunately, the staff came straight to our room with the key to a larger suite and made sure our guests could have a nice warm shower.

Kirsti was so helpful throughout the entire process of our wedding planning, along with Helen, who kept me informed at every step.

Marsela is the most friendly, caring and attentive events coordinator. She could not have put me more at ease as she made sure every single detail was exactly as we had planned. She went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect, and we had happy guests. Josh, the bar man, was so polite and helpful because he kept on top of everyone’s drink orders with a lovely manner and a big smile.

The food was incredible. It was such a great menu, and it was so tasty! The whole experience felt like it was much more prestigious than the price we paid.

I would recommend the Crook Barn to anyone who wants a very personal, beautiful, private space for their wedding. It takes very little decorating as it is a stunning room with lovely wooden beams and rustic features.

Overall, we had the most amazing, memorable day, and I would do it all again tomorrow.

We would give it 10/10. There was nothing we would change, just perfect!

can't speak highly enough of her, she took all the pressure off us so that we could enjoy our big day. She kept calm and managed all the staff and everything ran so smooth. She kept coming up and asking if everything was OK or if there was anything we needed and at the end of the night she found me and my wife to say bye which was a really nice thing to do. It felt like she was one of our guests not staff - talking and interacting with all the guests. We would both like to thank all the staff at Tankersley for making our big day feel so special. But a really big thanks to Beth she is a star!

spoke to really listened to special arrangements that we asked for and made sure that they were incorporated into our day. The food was stunning throughout - please pass our thanks to the chef and catering team. Beth and Fran did a wonderful job throughout the day which meant we could relax and enjoy the day without having to worry at all - please congratulate them both on our behalf. Our guests have commented on the beautiful venue, food, friendly staff and just how smoothly everything went on the day.
