Set in The Surrey Hills a defined Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Thatcher's Hotel is the perfect venue for your special day. Built in the 1930s the Mock Tudor-style house offers traditional charm with modern facilities and can accommodate up to 120 guests for a wedding breakfast, and 180 for evening reception. On your special day relax and enjoy the occasion whilst our experienced and professional team take care of the details.

With a wide range of function rooms to choose from, you can be sure to find one that suits your specific needs. Intimate or lavish, traditional or modern, we simply want you to have the day of your dreams.

Surrounded by landscape gardens, the hotel’s beamed Thatcher’s Restaurant seats 90 for a characteristic wedding breakfast, while our Central Park suite can cater for 180 guests for an evening reception with dancing.

Our dedicated wedding consultant can help you with every detail, including organising flowers, the wedding cake and planning the day’s events. Menus can be tailor-made to suit your specific tastes and requirements, with all catering offered by the hotel's acclaimed restaurant.

With 87 luxurious bedrooms and a stunning four poster-bed bridal suite we can offer the bridal couple, as well as their guests, the convenience of onsite accommodation.

New for 2017 & into 2018 the hotel is undergoing extensive refurbishment work. Including work i nthe bedrooms & public areas!

My husband and I got married here on 4th July 2015 and we had an absolutely fantastic day from start to finish. Our wedding co-coordinator Charlotte was amazing, she responded to emails very quickly and ensured that we were fully informed of what was happening throughout the day. She helped me up …

and down the stairs with my dress and did last minute veil adjustments when required! All the staff worked very hard to ensure that our day was flawless. The waiting staff were professional and ensured our drinks were always topped up and everything was to our satisfaction. The rooms were set up beautifully with great attention to detail. The bar staff were great, and kept the drinks flowing all evening.

We would whole-heartily recommend this venue to anyone considering it, it went above and beyond our expectations. We loved every second of our day and are so grateful to the hotel staff for all their help.
