The courtyard was absolutely gorgeous in the sunny spring weather!

would be open when we wanted our photographs. We went for a twilight package as this suited our needs and budget. It was great that the venue offered this flexibility as it was a big factor in us choosing The Bear. In the lead-up to the wedding day, Amy and Gemma were really on top of organising the fibre details Being able to drop all of our decorations the day before, and go through the last few details helped to iron out the plans but also allowed us to envision the wedding as the room was dressed for us, which was very exciting. On the wedding day, all staff members were welcoming, helpful and friendly. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the bedrooms and friendly the staff were. We loved that whilst the hotel is a public space, whilst we were at the wedding, it felt very private and intimate, as the area is separated from public areas. The wedding food BBQ buffet was delicious, and the waiting staff were great. We would not change anything about our wedding; we had the best time, and our guests all commented on the wonderful venue. Thank you. The entire team on the day from Reception to the kitchen team, waiting and bar staff could not have done enough for us. Everything was perfect down to the smallest detail. That just shows how well you get to know your clients and understand what they want. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Bear for any function especially as a wedding venue and I'd recommend Amy and Gemma in a heartbeat. You've made fans for life with myself and Billy.
