efficiently. We feel we've in good hands every step of the way!
Our day event manager Stephanie was also super helpful and made sure to talk us through every detail. She took on board every single note I gave her during our handover meeting, and the items I left her were all laid out exactly as I'd hoped. She was on hand throughout the day for any questions or extra bits of help - and made sure that we took 10 quiet minutes to eat a few canapes and have a drink between the ceremony and breakfast - and this was definitely something that we needed! She never once got flustered and her relaxed and efficient demeanour helped to keep us calm too.
Amanda, our night event manager, was equally as cool calm and collected. Not without a smile throughout the evening, she was on hand at any given point for support. She also did the most outstanding job, alongside her colleague (his name escapes me I do apologise!), at packing up all of our items, gifts, cards, and flowers to take with us at the end of the night. Everything was packaged neatly and carefully and this was a godsend after a long (and boozy) day!
Our guests were blown away by the venue, but we have also received numerous feedback that the food provided by Beales was the best wedding food they have ever had. The vegan guests were in shock at the quality of the vegan dishes - my aunt said it was the best vegan meal she has ever had and even sent her thanks to the chef on the day. The wine was also particularly well received! Our thanks go out to every single member of staff who was involved in the day.
We can't thank you all enough for helping us to have the most incredible day!

My wedding at the Italian Villa was everything we could ever dream of, from beginning to end!
From day one we were made to feel valued and special, and I would like to give special thanks to Frankie, who was of great assistance throughout the whole run up of the wedding. She helped to plan and …

co-ordinate all the finer details of the day and was patient throughout the many discussions and emails that were needed to make the day magical.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the Italian Villa staff, who were very efficient and were responsive to enquires and requests. The building is pleasant but deceiving, as it looks smaller from the outside. Signposting was ample, letting everyone know where to go.
On the day we were honoured to be looked after by Drew, what can be said other than OUTSTANDING. Both myself, my husband and our guests felt his attention to detail was noteworthy. He ensured place cards, favours, cake, décor etc were perfect, and he co-ordinated the timing of the event with efficiency and grace. He sought out the master of ceremonies and liaised with him to ensure that everything would run smoothly throughout the day. Knowing the venue well, he advised the photographer on the best places to take group shots and helped rally the family and guest into position. One of the highlights were the little surprises and attention to detail found throughout the day that I know Drew had a hand in.
The drinks reception was organised to perfection and all our guests were fed and watered whilst they waited to take photos or to go into the wedding breakfast.
A huge thank you to Beales Gourmet, the food was delectable and full of flavour. The creamy celeriac soup with smoked cheddar cheese and truffle oil, which was sumptuous and was food elegance! Followed by thyme chicken with lashing of gravy, sounds simple, tasted sublime! Vegetarian option was Mushroom Wellington, which people are still raving about! Finally, the lemon posset, which finished off an amazing menu!

Nothing is too much to ask, and they are extremely experienced and offer their advice on what works best, to ensure you have the best day. The venue is outstanding, not just the beautiful gardens, but the inside venue covering three floors is stylish, classy and classic. The food provided from Beales Gourmet is out of this world! Until we visited the Italian Villa, we were at a bit of a loss as all other venues for us were ‘ok’. When we went for our initial viewing and found ourselves asking all kinds of questions about how our day could work, we realised this was definitely the venue for us. (The Italian garden in …

particular was perfect). After booking we started our consultations with the event managers. (In particular Frankie, who was a pleasure to liaise with). Considering the potential stresses involved with organising a wedding all of the team were amazing. Nothing was too much or too small and we never felt silly for asking any question.

Then onto the day itself. Our ‘handover meeting’ was the night before, where we met Aphra who would be managing the day for us. Aphra completely put us at ease and had everything in hand. From this point on and during the day itself if we thought we needed anything Aphra already had it sorted. Even including organising a few minutes to be on our own. I also have to mention the food. To produce that quality for 100 guests was incredible. So many guests told us it was the best food they have had. In the evening Darius took over seamlessly and continued the extraordinary service until our day finished.

I truly can not recommend the venue and the staff enough. It is so easy to see why they win awards here. Thank you all so much for helping make our day perfect.

showed up with no notice and were given an excellent tour which immediately secured our decision. From that day forward we have received fast and regular communication which was so easy as you emailed us and we could plan and make decisions together in the evenings without calls during our working day. The attention to detail really made such a difference, whether organising our menu and catering for every single dietary need or writing down every plan during the stationary handover, all of the staff gave us their time and understanding.

When the day came I was so excited to see all of the ideas and plans come together so effectively. Aphra was absolutely superb and gave us the support we needed so that we were not overwhelmed but made sure that we had time to be together. Our friends and family were treated as part of the process and were listened to, with every request being met. The service was so professional whilst feeling personal and relaxed, meaning we could enjoy the day with our guests. I even had a tray of canapes brought to me by Aphra whilst being photographed in the gardens which was so thoughtful! Aphra was also brilliant at guiding our own MC without 'stepping on his toes'and made sure that everything ran smoothly despite the copious glasses of prosecco!

The food was so well cooked and every single person I spoke to mentioned how delicious it was and how beautiful it looked on the plate (particularly dessert!). I knew that this would be a highlight as Beales Gourmet have such a brilliant reputation...

We had originally chosen the villa based on a recommendation. The daughter of one of my dad's friends had tied the knot there a few years ago and they could not rate the Villa highly enough.

After the initial show round with Frankie on a cold drizzly day in January, we were wowed by the venue and …

knew it was the one for us.
As someone who works in events, my expectations were high, but I can say all expectations were exceeded.

All communication in the lead-up was extremely professional, prompt and vigilant. Nothing was too much trouble and I never felt I was hassling Frankie with my numerous emails back and forth.

Aphra and Ross on the day were also fantastic. Meeting with Aphra the day before completely put my mind at rest and I felt confident in leaving all my wedding bits with her to set-up.

One of my main concerns in the run-up was the weather which was so silly as it's not in anyone's control, I wish I'd spent less time worrying about that. I so desperately wanted to have the drinks reception outside to make use of the gardens and booking in June we hoped it would be the case. Luckily it was and we had the most perfect weather.

Everything just ran so smoothly and all the staff couldn't do enough for us and all our guests. Food was delicious, and after choosing a main course that we hadn't tried at our tasting, we were a bit nervous. But we needn't have been and as I went around the room to speak to all the guests after dinner, every single plate was completely cleared. It was delicious.

The evening was great fun, unfortunately, our band were not as good as hoped, so a piece of advice would be to always try and see the band in action before booking, Do not base it on website videos and online reviews.

Overall our day was a dream and certainly the day we had hoped for...and so much more. A big part of that was down to the villa and the team behind it so a huge THANKS must go to them.

Aphra and Candice were incredible on the day (and day before letting us set up and helping us though the run through) putting us both at ease and making our wedding such a relaxed and enjoyable day. At no point did we worry about anything (even when it turned out the registrar hadn't signed the certificate!) everyone was so professional and our guests are still commenting about how wonderful all your staff were and how perfectly the day ran.

I can’t say a big enough thank you to all of the staff at the Italian Villa. Their efforts made both the planning of our day and the experience of it an absolute joy. As a couple planning a wedding there was a lot that we were learning as we went through the process so to have the support of a …

team like that at the Villa was invaluable.
From the early enquiries to the general set up, then the fine tuning and detailed requests, and the running of the actual day, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. We asked for a lot of custom bits and bobs, had a lot of children to consider, and even had a slight upset on the day when the bride’s father forgot his suit trousers (causing a delay for a quick shopping trip), but everything was taken in their stride and was perfectly sorted for our special day.
Special mention #1 to Matt who was loads of help in the approach phases and who walked us through the day when we had our menu tasting, and when we separately met with our DJ on site. Really helpful and had some good advice for us and the DJ. Along with all the support by email from Cait and the team, as thoughts and questions occurred these steps made the planning easy.
On the day the venue looked and felt special, the service to both the bride and groom’s parties was fantastic and we were never left waiting to ask a question, as there were always folks on hand to help with any little thing. Whether that was checking on arrangements or sorting the Dutch courage! Special mention #2 to Grace who was absolutely exemplary in her event management both in meeting and running through with us the day before, and then so invaluably on the day. Both we and our guests were very grateful that she was all over everything, even finding time to set up the 20+ kids is a separate room during the speeches!
The food was amazing and praised by all. Difficult requests in the run up were sorted without quibble, and the staff even steered a difficult family member away from overtly fussy martyrdom

stationary and decorations down where we met Grace who was going to be our events coordinator for the actual day and straight away she put us at ease and promised she would be wherever was needed and always around to show us where we need to be or what we needed to do.
The day itself went perfectly and so much of this was down to Grace. The second we needed anything she was always there and made it that we had no stress on the day and she even made sure we had a glass of bubbly and our very own tray of canapés. By the end of the day we felt she was more like one of our guests!
The food was absolutely delicious and we had so many people comment on the main course, which in the end we went for the lamb.The staff bringing out the food were also fantastic and so professional. It started to rain during our drinks reception and so people went inside but the staff were so good at calmly and quickly bringing everything in we barely noticed. So even a bit of rain couldn't ruin our day.

also like to say Simon from the waiting staff was amazing!! The guests absolutely loved him - He was so attentive and always on hand with anything we wanted especially the bubbles!!

Chris who dealt the evening reception was also brilliant and again always on hand and very attentive.

The food was outstanding and I can honestly say I have never heard so many compliments on wedding food…just wish I didn’t lose my appetite and ate more!

I would also like to express my thanks to you again Cait, for always getting back to my email queries so quickly and being so amazing in the lead up!!

You guys really are the best and exceeded all my expectations and turned my dream wedding into a reality.
