My husband and I just got married at Chilworth Manor on 31 May 2024, and we had the most amazing time ever! Hannah, Millie, and the team really could not have done more. They really did make sure all of my guests were catered for and ensured all stress was kept away from us on our special day! …

Especially when our events company did not live up to expectations, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure our day was not impacted.
When planning the wedding, we did have some issues; however, we discussed this with them prior to the event, and all our concerns were addressed promptly.
The location is absolutely stunning, and the building itself has been modernised but still has some attributes that some people may call “dated” It’s an old manor, and the character needs to be kept to some degree!
The food was amazing, and the bar and breakfast staff were outstanding. The Greek barman was so friendly and made sure my husband and I were always having the most amazing time.
The rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds are so comfortable. My father was placed in a duplex room, which I wish I had both nights I stayed.
If you are looking for a getaway or planning a wedding, then I strongly recommend this venue. Hannah and the events team really will give you the best day you could hope for…just sorry it’s all over!

Our wedding reception at Chilworth Manor was exceptional. Throughout the planning process, our co-ordinator, Hannah was always reachable which was immensely reassuring. Hannah's thorough communication and accommodation of our every request ensured the day ran smoothly, and our face-to-face meetings …

as the big day approached proved that no detail would be forgotten.

On the day, our toastmaster George, the catering staff, and everyone else involved went above and beyond for ourselves and our guests. Having our September wedding on the hottest day of the year was one thing we couldn't have planned for, but the attentiveness of the staff made all the difference, keeping the arrival drinks cold and opening an extra air-conditioned space for our guests to cool down just beside the terrace. George made us feel special throughout the day and enthusiastically helped us include a game and a song performance during the wedding breakfast. An older family member of ours was unable to attend until the evening due to the hot weather, but upon our request his three course meal was served hot when he arrived, which we cannot praise the catering staff enough for.

Overall, throughout our entire experience with Chilworth, nothing was too much trouble. Along with the beautiful setting it provided for our wedding day, this made it the perfect venue choice for our reception.

We had Phoebe, the wedding coordinator look after us from the time we were thinking of what date to go with and she had been so patient and kind with all our requests. She is a wonderfully kind and hardworking coordinator we were lucky to have. Chilworth are very accommodating with certain requests …

and made us feel special on our wedding day. Even when we had questions and concerns about things on the day, they promptly sorted them and allowed us more time despite not being completely on schedule.
