Description

Sandburn Hall's personal wedding service starts from the moment you contact us. Yours will be the only wedding party here on the day and our sole aim is to make sure you’re happy with every detail.

We work with you to ensure your wedding breakfast is sensational. Our head chef is delighted to meet with you and we invite you to visit Tykes restaurant for a tasting. The spectacular oak framed Grand Function Hall with stunning views across the golf course, fountain and lakes provides a truly romantic setting.

For larger parties, the Grand Function Hall will hold 80-150 guests for your wedding breakfast and 200 for evening celebrations. For more intimate affairs, the Sanderson Room holds 30-60 guests during the day and 80 in the evening.

On the day a champagne welcome awaits you!

Our beautiful White Rose Garden, fountain, lakes and fairways provide the perfect setting for your photographs. Your Wedding Planner will personally greet you and ensure that all your special touches are organised. Our friendly and efficient team will be looking after your guests and ensuring everything runs smoothly, allowing you to relax and enjoy your day.

Everything was amazing from start to finish, if anything did go wrong I wasn’t aware of it, it all seemed absolutely perfect. Special thanks to Beth and Richard who were amazing from start to finish. Thankyou!!
Just a very simple but HUGE thank you, memories to cherish forever!

From the early stages right up to the day itself everything went exactly to plan thanks to Laura our wedding coordinator. She was very experienced at her job and helped us every step of the way.
Laura was great at keeping in contact with us all the way through. She answered my emails straight away …

which meant that I didn’t have to stress about anything as she was able to deal with any issues that came up.
We would like to thank Laura Stephenson for being the best wedding coordinator ever and all of the staff at Sandburn hall who made our wedding day so amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything that we asked for. I would highly recommend Sandburn hall to other couples wanting to get married in the York area without hesitation. The location is fantastic, the food was amazing, the staff were very experienced and helpful and the venue is the most beautiful place for the ceremony and after party. From start to finish, I could not recommend Sandburn Hall as a wedding venue more. Everything was brilliant!
Beth was amazing! Anything that we need, any questions we had, anything, was dealt with quickly and efficiently and in the calmest manner. Beth is a wonderful coordinator as she is so calm …

and organised. :)
Special shout out Richard, the guy with the cool moustache tie clip who ran our breakfast service and into the evening do, awesome chap! Thank you to all of the team at Sandburn Hall! You all made our special day even more special. :)
