Deciding to tie the knot, needless to say, is a big commitment. While that of course, is a great thing, the single life is something you will be officially saying goodbye to forever. Here are a few things you need to do before kicking the bridal bucket!
Get that crazy hairdo you’ve always wanted to try
Every wanted to dye your hair a mad colour or get a crazy cut? Now is your chance! Once you start planning your wedding, you may want to grow your hair or keep it a certain colour for your bridal look, but before you jump in, why not get that kind of crazy hair do you’ve always wanted. Since you will probably be keeping it at a certain style for some time, you might as well try something new (but not too crazy!), especially if your wedding planning will go on for longer that 18months.
Spend time apart
Since you will be spending a lifetime together, it’s important to remember that you can also be independent from each other. Being married is a totally new level to your relationship as you need to make major decisions as a unit. But, keeping a level of independence can also be good for a couple. Before you tie the knot, travel somewhere you’ve always wanted to go to. It may not be a place that your partner shares an interest in, but that doesn’t matter!
Have Regular Night Outs With The Gals
Your besties have been there for you, maybe even before your partner. Before you jump head first into wedding planning, remember that these friends will be the ones to help you unwind while you are stressing over chair covers. It doesn’t have to be a night out, but regular catch-ups with your friends will keep you from getting bride brain.
