The weeks leading up to your wedding day can be some of the most stressful times for anyone. It may seem ironic but wedding planning can take a toll on your relationship. Often, because you’ve spent so much time stressing on the big day that it can take over everything else.
If you’re using your lunch hour to run errands, procrastinating on the tasks you actually need to get done or if it just stops being fun; it’s time to take a step back!
Here are 3 simple ways to keep calm before your wedding.
Go for a walk
Get up and take a quick walk. Try focusing your mind on what is around you and on your own breath. Walking or doing something active can not only give your mind a break but it also allows you to subconsciously work out the issues you might have. Try yoga or a relaxing activity where you can focus on yourself and your needs for a few minutes!
Talk About it
Sometimes just talking about the stress you’re under can give you an ease of mind. Your bridal party, wedding coordinator and fiancé are all there to support you, so let them!
Make a Decision
Sometimes, making any decision is the right one when it comes to wedding planning. Often, leaving yourself open to so many options when it comes to décor or music or anything else can just tire you out. At the end of the day, accepting that you are going to have a wedding day no matter what choice of menu you make can be a huge stress relief. Keep calm and keep the priority of the day at hand…. your marriage!
