Washingborough Hall, a pretty Georgian Grade II listed country house will host a Bridal event on the afternoon of Sunday, 4th October, between 12 noon and 4:00pm.
Located three miles from Lincoln, this complimentary event will showcase the best of the region’s wedding suppliers, as well as its award-winning offering, including the recently opened Winston Room and sumptuously decorated bridal suite The Ingleby.
Built to complement the historic elegance of the Grade II listed building, the single–storey orangery is a sympathetic extension to the period property accommodating up to 150 guests, beautifully decorated and full of natural light, this elegant reception room opens on to the hotel’s west-facing lawns and has its own dedicated bar area.
The event will be co-hosted by Lucy Herring, co-owner of the hotel, and Amy Thorne, Director of Romance. Both are wedding industry professionals who share a wealth of wedding planning and hospitality experience between them, they are the bride’s ‘wedding planner/best friend/big sister’ all in one, personally overseeing detailed wedding arrangements on behalf of each couple.
In addition, there will also be a carefully selected collection of suppliers to meet, including David Lowerson Photography, Sheena Solis Bride, S&A Floral Design, The Grange Spa as well as musicians, ‘Kokoshka’ – Makeup by Estera Sutton and many more bridal services which complement the venue.
Light refreshments will be available throughout the event and there will also be a Raffle to win a Champagne Afternoon Tea. Access to the Wedding Open Day is complimentary, and car parking is provided within the hotel’s grounds.
