Built in the 1600’s and starting as the aforementioned farm and expanding as a racehorse stable in the 1930’s, this village has been the wearer of many hats. In 1963, the farm was sold to Carlton Walker who transformed it into the Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa. The property gets its name from Mr. Walker, who while putting the finishing touches on his restaurant, was offered ‘the last drop’ of a bottle of wine to celebrate.

The hotel is an award-winning wedding destination for every season. Set in over 20 acres of grounds with manicured gardens, lawns and landscapes and the beautiful backdrop of the West Pennine Moors provides stunning photo opportunities.  Each season at Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa brings a change in the natural landscape, lighting and atmosphere. Spring weddings are particularly popular as the venue is in full bloom.  Summer provides the opportunity for creative use of the outdoor spaces and outdoor food choices. The spectacular natural light in Autumn proves popular with Wedding photographers and Winter Weddings bring festive magic for your memories.
