Your Hand In Mine: Lisa + Joel's Black Tie Wedding

Little and large. The adorable Lisa and Joel knew they had found a soulmate in each other.

Friends and family traveled from all over the world to celebrate their love in a luxuriously classical black tie affair on 22nd of July 2016. Side by side, their hands were intertwined with love all day long…

Joel set the proposal scene perfectly by beginning their romantic evening at a beautiful restaurant in Manchester. And, not forgetting a trip to see John Legend in concert!

“I was grinning from ear to ear as we left the concert, thinking we were heading home to normality. But, Joel is always full of surprises! He took me to a hotel and booked us in for the night. As I was admiring the room, I turned around to see him down on one knee! I don’t think I could see anything from the tears and left him down there for longer than he expected but I eventually said yes! We celebrated with chocolate and champagne!”

Lisa wowed in a Romantica wedding gown with stunning lace detailing on the train and her dazzling smile was infectious in every photograph. While Joel was dreamy and handsome in a midnight blue tailored tuxedo by Kabiru Saville Row.

Their elegant taste fit perfectly with the timeless feel of the day which was brought together by whimsical purple tones and charcoal greys.

“We booked a magician and a photobooth as we wanted our guests to be entertained, but the main thing for us was the music! We both love music so we had a singer for the ceremony and both a band and DJ for the evening.”

“Our photographers Russell and Hope of Prestige Photography were both amazing, nothing was too much to ask! Hope helped me into my dress with my mum on the morning and had so many ideas of different images to capture with the bridesmaids. They are both so talented! We still can’t stop looking at the pictures now!”

“We visited a few different venues, but as soon as we walked into Hogarths, we just knew it was the one for us! The decor and the grounds were simply stunning. The crushed velvet  drapes and chairs in the marquee gave it such a luxurious feel and it was exactly what we had pictured for our big day.”

“We were lucky to have beautiful weather on the day, which meant that the hotel gardens came into their own. The guests and ourselves were impressed with how stunning the whole venue looked and we took advantage of the outdoor seating areas.”
