Bridezilla. The word everyone fears during wedding planning. You may have begun your wedding plans as a happy-go-lucky bride-to-be but so many brides fall down that slippery slope to scary bride. Here are a few signs to avoid turning into a bridezilla.
Talking Constantly About Wedding Plans
So a friend may ask casually about your wedding plans. Do you find yourself chewing their head off for a half hour monologue on how your florist has chosen the wrong centre piece? Why is it that so many brides get completely obsessed with the tiny details of their wedding? Many it’s a way to process the fact that you are going from single to married life in such a short space. Instead, try and confront your emotions with your partner or even a friend you trust. Hopefully this can take the pressure off that transition period.
Control
In many ways, brides can get out of control when it comes to wedding plans. While many brides are trying to have the perfect day, they can get out of control in terms of spending habits. From picking up every bridal mag out there to trying to find the best of the best, spending habits can get a little crazy. This is where a budget or wedding planner comes in. Although you may not think it, many planners are great for a wedding budget as they have experience in strictly sticking to them.
Crash Diets
If you find yourself counting every last calorie leading up to your wedding, it’s time to stop! If you’ve already had your final fittings then it is time to stop dieting like mad. Your dress was designed to fit you perfectly at that time so dieting will not show the dress off. As well as this, it will leave you looking dull and with low energy levels. If you’re concerned, why not consult a nutritionist leading up to your big day?
