We’ll admit, there’s very little that beats a good bromance. From Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, Kanye and Jay-Z and of course Ant and Dec, we love seeing those friendships that will last a lifetime. Here are our top 5 bromance movies:
I Love You Man
Probably the most epic story in bromance history, ‘girlfriend guy’ Peter meets Sydney at a showing of Lou Ferringo’s mansion and bond over a mutual obsession for the band Rush. This bromance has it all: friendship, love, humor and of course a moment where their friendship gets tested. This has to be one of the most hilarious but touching bromance movies out there! Who can forget the moment where Peter and Sydney are trying on outfits for Peter’s wedding?
Wedding Crashers
The movie that ‘Internship’ wouldn’t exist without, 2000’s ‘Wedding Crashers’ bond over a shared enthusiasm for crashing weddings and picking up emotionally vulnerable female guests. This movie paved the way for so many other bromance movies and even has a small appearance from ‘The Hangover star’, Bradley Cooper. And how stunning does Doctor Quinn, Medicine Woman (ahem, we mean Jane Seymour) look in this flick?
Shaun of the Dead
This movies proves that even zombies can’t come between a solid bromance. Shaun and Ed are the unlikely heroes in this funny zombie flick when Shaun decides he needs to save his ex-girlfriend. But, what man could travel across a zombie infested town without his best bro by his side?
Lethal Weapon
What bromance list would be complete with a buddy cop movie and Lethal Weapon has it all. A veteran cop, Murtaugh, is partnered with a young rookie, Riggs. Both have one thing in common; they hate working in pairs. These two have to decide to face the odds if they are going to work together to shut down a gang of drug smugglers. This movie is not a love at first sight but a bromantic appreciation over time and we love it!
Wayne’s World
Everyone knows a bromance like Wayne and Garth. These two slackers are the host of the cable access show, ‘Wayne’s World.’ A classic bromance, the scene where they sing along to Bohemian Rhapsody has to be our favourite scene in any bromance movie ever!
