The Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa venue was built in the 1600s, started as a working farm, and expanded to a racehorse stable in the 1930s. It was transformed into the Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa in 1963 after the farm was sold to Mr Walker, from whom it gets its name. Mr Walker was offered ‘the last drop’ of a bottle of wine to celebrate the purchase and beginnings of this Courtyard Restaurant. This historic 17th-century working estate has now been transformed into a modern hotel and venue specialist and has surely stood the test of time and will cater to all your needs making sure it’s “Your Wedding Your Way” at the Last Drop Village.
The Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa is situated in the heart of the North West on the outskirts of Greater Manchester and Lancashire with the West Pennine Moors in the distance. The team can tailor wedding packages with bespoke add-ons to make each wedding unique and exactly what you want. The hotel caters to all styles of weddings, ranging in size, and is licensed for civil ceremonies. The venue has several elegant Wedding Suites unique in shape and styling, catering to 10 to 450 guests. The hotel has 135 bedrooms with a selection of bridal suites, family bedrooms and connecting bedrooms. If you want to enjoy some alone time with friends and family before the wedding, the old worker’s cottages have been transformed into a collection of 3-5 bedrooms for groups. The hotel offers discounted accommodation to all your wedding guests who also get free access to the Village Spa.
The Village Spa features an 18-meter Indoor Swimming Pool, a Thermal Suite boasting an outdoor Hydrotherapy Pool, and a choice of five saunas and steam rooms: Rock Sauna, Bio Sauna, Steam Room, Aroma Grotto, and halotherapy room. It also offers ESPA treatments with eight treatment rooms and has an all-encompassing 44-station Technogym. You can also enjoy some pre-wedding drinks and tasty meals at the venue’s Courtyard Bar, Courtyard Restaurant, and Little Village. The Little Village has six independent retail shops – a vintage wedding dress shop, hairdressers, pottery shop, gift shop, interior design store & clothing boutique. The charming Mimosa Suite with traditional wooden beams and stone walls in the heart of the main hotel is ideal if you are looking for an intimate wedding. The Harmony Suite features an outdoor split-level patio and direct access to the gardens. If you opt for a grand wedding, the beautiful and elegant Pennine Suite with its imposing canopy entrance is where you can make a grand entrance by horse and carriage, limousine or wedding car. The Penny Farthing Suite has high beams, wood-panelled walls and separate areas for various parts of your day.
