We are situated in an ideal location within only a short distance from central London and close to 3 major motorways, the general easy of location makes this a popular choice for weddings, especially for couples who have guests travelling from a distance. They know their guests can travel down easily and enjoy a stay with us without worrying if their guests will be looked after, catered for and generally cared for at this hectic time.
You are working with brides and grooms almost every day. What are your favorite wedding trends of the year so far?
Definitely for us as a hotel we enjoy a themed wedding environment which really takes our venue to a new atmosphere. Rustic/Shabby Chic seems to be very popular this year with many Brides choosing to become more DIY in wanting to create the essential items themselves. We see a lot of Brides recently who are really loving getting involved with the manual side of making their decorations to add a really personal touch.
What do couples love most about your hotel? What makes them go “Wow”?
The welcome and friendly service, we are so very fortunate here with our professional team who genuinely, passionately care about looking after people. We love meeting our Brides and Grooms from the moment they step through our door and we enjoy keeping in touch after the event to see how life is going for them. We always encourage our guests to come back for their first anniversary to reminisce about their Special Day.

Our Orchard suite is super for weddings up to 120 guests, with full flexibility and with it’s own private bar, you are assured the guests stay all together and keeps the atmosphere of the day alive.
The day of a wedding must be busy and exciting in Hatfield Oak Hotel after months of planning with couples?
Absolutely, it is an electric atmosphere and so wonderful when all the hard work comes together with a fabulous celebration. We enjoy the preparation of the wedding as much as the day itself. Staff are excited for the day and helps bring experience to all our staff members who work so hard to create the perfect day for our couples.
