It’s true, everyone has their own personal scent that smells amazing on them. Some of us have a signature scent that we’ll wear day in and day out, while others have scents they save for special occasions (like a wedding maybe?). If you’re looking to explore a new look, there’s probably no better time than Christmas (yay, some more things to add to our wishlist!). Here are our favourite bridal perfumes for 2014.
Elie Saab Le Parfum
If this designer can put together amazing bridal gown, we can definitely trust that this perfume is amazing too. The Paris-based designer gets it perfect with this Chanel-esque floral number with hints of blossom, orange, gardenia and vetiver.
Michael Kors Gold Rose Edition
Perfect for the lady who loves light and fruity, this fragrance contains five flowers including; tuberose, gardenia and rose centifolia with a dash of raspberry….. This is heaven!
Oscar de la Renta Live in Love
Stunning floral scents at its heart (including jasmine sambac, orange flowr, and rose) this fragrance is said to be inspired by women who love life.
Hermés 24 Faubourg
A classic in our eyes, this perfume has the Hermés signature down to a tee. It’s top notes consist of brilliant white flowers, with a gorgeous hint of iris and a lovely vanilla afternote. Apparently, this was a favourite of the late Princess Diana too (she wore Quelques Fleurs on her wedding day).
Miss Dior Cherie
This Dior scent has the perfect combination of love and romance with contemporary, elegant tones; this perfume is a no brainer for any bride. The right amount of youth in it’s top notes of wild strawberries gives the scent that touch of vitality. Plus, if it’s good enough for Natalie Portman, we suppose it’ll do. Side note, how amazing does she look in those ads!?
Chanel Chance
Released in 2002, Chance is a youthful from turn from Chanel classics like no.5. Adding to that signature woodsy musk is a top note of citrus and bright lemon softened with a hint of jasmine. Beautiful and understated, Chance is a lovely choice for the bride who wants something a vibrant but classic.
