In terms of music we have often covered the ceremony compilations, the perfect song to walk down the aisle to, the grand entrance and of course the first dance. After that, we usually leave it up to you. But, we have had a request from a music conscious bride about what the best tunes are to part ways with your wedding guests at the end of the night.
You have already talked to and thanked all your guests for being there, ate some fantastic food and drank some wonderful wine. The day has flown and this is your final moment to give everyone a big taste of your personality as a couple.
Time Of My Life – Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes
Classic. Dirty Dancing. Can’t go wrong. Enough said.
One Love – Bob Marley
This is a great relaxed and lovely song to end the night on.
Oh What A Night – Frankie Vali
One of my favourite songs of all time, I could listen to it at any time of day! Realistically though, it is perfect for your last song of the evening.
Hit The Road Jack – Ray Charles
Another classic melody, that always has the guests singing along and a fun way to say goodbye.
Unforgettable – Natalie Cole
We couldn’t resist adding this favourite by Natalie Cole featuring Nat King Cole and perfect to close a great day and night!
Eternal Flame – The Bangles
We can blame Karen in the office for choosing this song from 1988! To be fair it is a great song and one guaranteed to get everybody up at the end of the night, arms linked and swaying to the tune!
And finally……..
Let’s Get It On – Marvin Gaye
This 1973 classic by Marvin Gaye…… need we say more?!
So those are a few of our favourite ‘Grand Exit’ songs, what do you think? Did we leave out your favourite?
