Legacy Dukes Head Hotel have won an amazing accolade recently, a Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence award. The honour, which commends the hotel, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide.
A merit like this can usually be attributed to a number of people which, General Manager, David Williams agreed with: “It was down to the team at the hotel. We work very well as a team at the Legacy Dukes Head Hotel, with all departments supporting each other. Our staff working in housekeeping, through to kitchen and front of house all have an input on a guests stay and I believe this has been reflected in receiving this award.”
David went on to mention; “Winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is a true source of pride for the entire team at the Legacy Dukes Head Hotel and we’d like to thank all of our past guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor”.
When asked what has been a source of great pride, Karl at the hotel noted their repeat business and regulars as a stand out achievement as well as their hospitable atmosphere. I believe the friendliness of our staff, their knowledge and level of service they give adds to repeat guests. From the moment a couple meet with Hannah our Wedding Coordinator, they build a special bond and are made to feel like the only couple in the world. This is shown in the regular communication Hannah keeps with the bride and groom after the initial meeting to ensure their wedding plans are coming along and put their mind at ease that we have everything covered at the hotel ready for their special day.”
He also mentioned how touching it is to be part of a couple’s milestones, even after the wedding day. “Often the bride and groom returns to our hotel to celebrate an anniversary. This year we hosted a 50th wedding anniversary for a local couple that married at the hotel in 1964. This shows what we do at the Legacy Dukes Head we do well and our guests want to return.”
