It seems all might not be blissful in paradise as it is claimed that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have postponed their June wedding until the couple fix their differences. The 20 year old singer became engaged to 23 year old Australian actor Liam last summer but it seems things between them have been on the rocks for the last number of months.
A source close to the couple told US Magazine Life & Style that the couple are taking time to strengthen their relationship before they make such a big commitment “They were supposed to get married in June but there have been so many problems with them, they thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment. They aren’t ready. Their families are both concerned. They don’t want to see Miley and Liam get married and then get divorced. They’re very young to be getting married.”
Although it seems Liam’s older brother Luke thought all was well between the couple (or else he didn’t want to give anything away) when he spoke to Entertainment Weekly, “She’s great. She loves our kids, and our kids absolutely love her. She won our hearts. I find her really interesting. I find her very articulate, and years in maturity above her age. But at the same time, she’s very much like Liam. I think a lot of people don’t realise that they are really, really in love. They actually are a perfect match in a lot of ways.”
Here’s to hoping the young couple come to terms with their issues and get back to planning the wedding of their dreams!
