During a beautiful sunny Sunday morning in September, One Great George Street hosted their Wedding Showcase. It was the first time they had organised such an event.
Having spent months organising and preparing, the day finally arrived and the venue looked spectacular. Each room was set-up as though there was a wedding going on, 12 of the venue’s top suppliers came along to showcase their products and services which included TBR florists who dressed the rooms with beautiful flower displays. To add even more atmosphere two live bands played throughout the event in the entrance foyer and on stage in the main wedding breakfast room, the Great Hall.
Guests and visitors were served with a glass or two of fizz and able to sample the canapés. They then were shown the main areas of the venue and given an exclusive tour of the kitchens where top-class food for weddings is prepared. This was followed by sampling some wonderful wedding cake and a nice cup of tea.
