The Devonshire Fell, renowned for its beautiful Yorkshire Dales location in picturesque Burnsall, invites you to a Wedding ‘Open House’ on the afternoon of Sunday, 4th June. This event is to showcase the pretty Edwardian country house hotel, which was once a Gentleman’s Club for Yorkshire’s mill-owning elite, as the ideal Yorkshire wedding venue.
To be held from 12 noon to 3pm, the event is free of charge and no appointment is necessary. Come and meet with Hannah Crosdale, the hotel’s Wedding and Events Coordinator, and other members of the friendly hotel team to discuss your wedding ideas. Exclusive offers for the venue will be available on the day, and there will be other select bridal suppliers in attendance too.
Partners include Suzy Mitchell, award-winning bridal photographer from Ilkley, Sitting Pretty – chair covers and sashes, and florist, Vanessa Wellock of Wildflowers, Ilkley. The venue’s Dalzell Room will be suitably dressed for the occasion, with a sage & blush pink colour theme, to inspire guests.
Complimentary prosecco and a selection canapés will be served to prospective couples. Alternatively, visitors may also like to book Sunday lunch at the hotel, to enjoy before or after the event, with friends and family (pre-booking is required).
Boasting fabulous views, licenced for indoor civil ceremonies, delicious wedding menus and a warm Yorkshire welcome, this boutique hotel is a popular choice for brides and grooms seeking an unforgettable and friendly wedding venue. Perfect for exclusive-use celebrations, the sixteen bedroom property can accommodate a more intimate wedding for up to 32 guests staying at the venue. For those looking for a bigger occasion, The Devonshire Fell can hold up to a maximum of 90 guests for a wedding breakfast and 100 guests for an evening reception.
