Planning a wedding can be really exciting. But, it can be equally challenging if you have no experience in the area. Here are some tips and tricks to make planning a wedding a breeze.
Pay Attention to Weather
If you live in an area that is pretty much known for a certain seasonal climate, take heed and consider it wisely. Are you considering an outdoor ceremony in a location where there’s a chance of rain?
The Guest List
Do you need to trim some fat off a wedding budget? The best way is to cut the guest list. Be strict in the beginning. Tell family that you will have final say and to ask you before inviting someone. Make it clear that adding on people later on in the planning puts pressure on your and your venue. Remember that half your expenses usually go to wining and dining your guests.
Ask
We often say, you don’t know unless you ask. Before signing on the dotted line, why not ask for that cover song from your wedding band or that extra detail in your centerpieces. Most suppliers and venues will prefer to secure their business and won’t mind throwing in a freebie or two to do so. Remember, that honey is always better than vinegar and some suppliers might be less happy to meet you half way later on.
