Yay… You finally decided it’s time to tie the knot, and she said yes! While traditionally, a lot of wedding planning has been left up to the Bride’s camp, nowadays the modern groom takes his fair share of the wedding work load. Here are some groom checklist tips in a 6 month countdown to your day.
Plan Your Honeymoon
Are you going on a romantic mini moon first or a wild adventure? The honeymoon is a huge opportunity for the groom to woo his bride and really treat her. So, impress the socks off her by taking care of the plans as well as adding a few surprises for her along the way. First step to take is passport checks!
Transport
This is a fun job! Who’s driving? Will you have a horse and carriage, a limo, a vintage car? Tradition usually is that the best man, being the great guy he is, takes the wheel. But, if you’ve had your stag do the night before, you might want to give that a miss!
Guest List
Refine that guest list down and weed out any people who haven’t sent back an RSVP yet. As well, you may have out of town guests looking for a place to stay. Organise spare rooms and hotel reservations for them, or let them know in your invitations where the best places to stay will be.
