Tired of seeing the same old strapless gown when wedding shopping? Well guess what? There’s a new trend in town! The bridal pantsuit. Similar to the crop top look, but a little more grown up, pantsuits are taking the runway by storm with designers like J.Crew stepping up to the plate with stunning looks.
More recently, Bridesmaids star Rose Byrne was spotted in a gorgeous beaded suit that would look so chic at a wedding. The one question is, would you wear one? Personally, I love the idea of an alternative to the typical dress, and a tall lady could make this look amazing, but I think many brides will be looking at their wedding day as a rare option to really dress up in a gown. Unless you happen to be strutting down red carpets regularly, you’ll probably be more interested in the rare chance of wearing an elaborate dress. It’s definitely a perfect look for a dinner rehearsal, later on in the reception, the day after or even the mother of the bride, but if you’re more traditional, it might take more convincing!
