Guaranteed Ways to Make Your Wedding Fun

Every wedding is special to a couple but not every couple is good at hosting a party. Here are a few guaranteed ways to make your wedding fun.

Have Your Wedding Party Get to Know Each Other

A wedding is all about bringing two families together as well as friends. You’ve probably noticed from other big milestones that in large gatherings, people usually stick with those they know. Break the ice with your engagement party and hen/stag dos. You might even want to do a pre wedding dinner at your house, but by the time your big day comes around, your friends and family will be thick as thieves.

Make a Schedule and Stick to it

Might not sound like fun, but your guests won’t find it fun to have nothing to while you’re having your couple’s photos taken. Whether it’s entertainment or something to nibble, make sure your guests have something to do at all times. This applies to having appropriate transportation arrangements for your guests. As well, consider having time limits on toasts and speeches.

A Great Seating Chart

Just like making sure your bridal party get to know each other, a good seating chart should ignite conversations. Also, there is nothing more annoying that being seated at a table where everyone else went to school together.

Relax!

Seriously, relax. You can only plan so much fun into a wedding before you can let guests enjoy themselves. In the end, it’s up to your guests to make their own fun. As they say, you can only lead a horse to water. Besides, have you ever been to a party where the host is on edge about everyone enjoying themselves? Definitely not fun!
